Mr. Boma, these were a HIT yesterday. Did a 9 hr gig at our Waterfront festival and I must have made at least 15 of these. Still haven't quite got the 'moves' locked in my brain, so it's still taking me 5 - 7 min to make ea one. Trying to get that down to 3 minutes. But the crowd LOVED them. I've been looking for a woven-bodied fish design for a while now. This Nemo is fantastic, and I want to give you a most sincere "thank you" for sharing this video and helping me become a better party entertainer. That's awesome! I learned to twist just over a year ago from watching RUclips videos, so I thought I should pay it forward and post some of my own tutorials.
Do you know how to do a flat weave? If not, learn that first. You might also watch my video on flat weave variations. It doesn't really matter which orange you are using when, just try to keep them around the same size.

Mr. Boma, that is an Awesome and easy Clown Fish. Learned the Flat Weave several mths ago. Love the design and can be done pretty quick, once you learn the steps. I'm a newbie twister and i had a fairly easy time making this my first time ever. People complaining about it want things in life way to easy if you ask me!! Might as well go to one of your venues and pay to have one made by you at that point lol :) Great Tutorial, thanks for all your videos.

I started balloon twisting 8 days ago and i got this on my second try! I just watched the video a lot to make sure I was getting it, next time I just need to work on making my bubbles consistent which is tough!! Thanks for the great tutorial =]

I appreciate the feedback. This was my first video, so it has some flaws. As I mention at the beginning of the video and in the description, this design is for people who already know how to flat weave. If you know how to flat weave, it should be pretty easy to follow what I am doing.

Thanks, Mr. Pockets! The problem is people who know nothing about balloons beyond the basic dog are trying to skip 6 months of balloon education. You really need to know the flat weave to do this. If you know the flat weave it is super easy. That's why I made the video teaching the basic flat weave.

My video just shows variations of the flat weave, but not how to do a basic flat weave. So I suggest first learning to do a flat weave. There are several videos that will teach you how to do it. Then check out my variations. Then do this one again. Sorry the video isn't clearer. I'm new at the tutorial thing.

I do say in both the description and annotations that this is for people who already know how to do a flat weave.

Those twists are part of the flat weave. I state that this is a variation of a flat weave and say in the description and annotations that you should already know how to do a flat weave before doing this balloon. If you know the flat weave, you already know all the little twists. If a video is too fast for you, then it is not at your level. Get better and then come back to it. I had to do the same thing with many videos when I started.
Ive been watching it like a thousand times because im so like Nemo character and I wish I could make my own Nemo Balloon. Iam a new beginner in balloon twisting. Do you think I can make it, Mr. Booma? Tomorrow I will try it based on Mr. Booma's instruction. I will let you now my result Mr. Booma ;) wish me luck.
Learn the basic flat weave first. Then this will be much easier.

Nope. This video is for intermediate to intermediate/advanced twisters. If this seems too fast, you aren't ready for it, yet. Stick with Mike Floyd, Mr. Fudge, and Holly Hopper for now. Practice your skills and then come back. Make sure you understand the flat weave before attempting this. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. Some balloons are for beginners and some are not.

this is a very beautiful design but it's hard to see what you're doing. I would like it if you could slow down a bit and bring the balloon closer to the camera si we can see what you're doing better.
I've not timed it. 3 minutes? Fast enough that I do it in my restaurant gig pretty regularly.
I actually think its slow enough to see and understand, there is really only one way to do this people, and you don't have to be Einstein to figure it out.

I found this video to be very confusing to watch? Bo matter how many times I tried i cant follow it. I cant see what your doing
Do you know the flat weave? When I made the video, I was assuming the viewers would know how to flat weave. That's why I don't show every step - it is just a modified flat weave. And that's why the description says this is an intermediate to intermediate-advanced design based on the flat weave. It looks like you've only been doing balloons for about a month. Give it some time and come back to the video, especially after you learn the flat weave. Once you learn that, it will be much easier. Good luck, and happy twisting!

You're too slow. This is not a beginner balloon. Practice and improve and come back later when you have mastered the flat weave. Also, don't forget you can pause and rewind. You control your RUclips viewing experience.
