As a pre-teen I fell in love with Southern Gospel Quartet music and LOVE it to this day. Oh, what young folks are missing. In my opinion, the most moving and spirit-filled music The Lord ever blessed this earth with.
I remember the time ( I remember the time) when in darkness I wondered (farther from home) On the mountain of sin (on the mountain of sin) I had traveled so long ( I had traveled so long) Like the prodigal son (like the prodigal son) all my good I had squandered (sadly I roamed) But the Savior came in (but the Savior came in) and He gave me a song (twas a beautiful song) I can tell you now the time ( I can tell you the time), I can take you to the place ( I can show you the place) Where the Lord saved me (where the Lord saved me) by His wonderful grace (by His wonderful grace) But I can not tell you how (for I know not the how) and I can not tell you why (and I know not the why) But He'll tell me all about it ( He will tell me all about it) in the by and by (in the by and by) I can never forget ( I can never forget) when He spoke to me gently (follow thou me) In the fountain of life (in the fountain of life) there's a balm for your soul (there's a balm for your soul) So I heeded His voice (so I heeded His voice), He was speaking intently (glady I see) Through His marvelous grace (through His marvelous grace) I am happy and whole ( I am happy and whole) I can tell you now the time ( I can tell you the time), I can take you to the place ( I can show you the place) Where the Lord saved me (where the Lord saved me) by His wonderful grace (by His wonderful grace) But I can not tell you how (for I know not the how) and I can not tell you why (and I know not the why) But He'll tell me all about it ( He will tell me all about it) in the by and by (in the by and by)
I want to say this I know things change but when Arthur and Jeff left it was hard for me to understand, that said this group right here was the best, I really loved hearing them sing!!!
Jeff Chapman is the best bass ever. I do love the Lead singers voice. Jeff sounds great with Gold City. Authur was at Maple Ridge church, but i think hes gonna sing some again.

This is quartet music at it’s best! My favorite lead singer, Arthur Rice!
WOW! Does it get any better than this? What amazing talent telling our saviors story! Jeff's bass reminds me of George Younce's deep bass!
This is what we call Quartet. They sing like no other one. Jeff show all his quality as a bass in this song. God bless them.
That’s as good as it will ever get. Love every part of this quartet. This quartet will go down as my favorite of all time.
Amen
I love this Quartet... Kingdom Heirs...

This is the best quartet I've ever heard
Excellent!
Jeff has always been my favorite bass singer.
I just cannot believe this guy.
Nice!! Is the bass using vocal fry on the low notes?
I don't think so. Fry notes sound horrible, almost like when a door cracks open. The bass from Jeff sounds very round and full.
Who are the components? their names?
Arthur Rice- Lead, Brian Alvey- Baritone, Jerry Martin-Tenor and Jeff Chapman-Bass
