Riding wise dry of cause, but when it gets wet, a lot of the top riders seem to overestimate their skills and a few of the very good but not top riders get a chance, because they usually ride a tad more conservatively and dont crash.

The GOAT, Greg Minnaar has been at it since the 90's. I remember I was racing then too, My last race was 2014 and it seems like a million years ago. I can't believe he not only races still, but stays competitive and WINS.

What is with all the whistling? Those whistles would literally drive me insane just being there. How does it not distract and annoy the riders?!
