The Universe Will Restore All Your Wasted Years -- Dr. Tony Evans 2024
In 1973, at the age of 24, Tony Evans was contacted by a radio show producer from Houston (KHCB). This man had contacted Dallas Theological Seminary, where Tony was a junior in the Th.M. program, asking for great preaching content to put on his program for free. One of Tony’s professors recommended him. Thus began the public broadcasting of Dr. Tony Evans. Recorded in a tiny studio on the seminary campus, Tony spent the next few years faithfully preaching into a microphone for a crowd unseen in Houston.
Nearly a decade later, The Urban Alternative was formed in 1981 when requests for Dr. Evans’ sermons came in so frequently from his Houston and Dallas radio broadcasts that Mrs. Lois Evans, co-founder of the ministry, began fulfilling orders. Mrs. Evans used her business skills to organize, develop and expand the outreach and growth of the ministry.

I have found that teaching about Binding and Loosening as JESUS said in Matthew 18:18, would help the people of GOD. It’s interesting to me that you speak often of the Kingdom Agenda, which JESUS said in Matthew 6:33 to seek First the Kingdom of GOD, HE didn't say anything about an Agenda. Your Scriptures reference to the Kingdom is Psalms 128, instead Ive found that Isaiah 9:6-7 is reference to HIS Kingdom and the Government will be on HIS shoulder!!! You and so many Churches do not teach about the Kingdom of GOD, sure ya'll mention it and go right on by it instead of diving in completely so that all GOD’S Children understand it; And also the study on Binding and Loosening, no indepth study on that either. All my life I've been hearing, either I don't have enough Faith, or I'm not praying the correct way or I need to fast or I must have sin that I'm holding on too, it was always a reason that my prayers weren't being answered. Well I know now why; It's because I was listening to Preachers and Teachers like you and I was studying the scriptures that came from the sermons, but you know, I take responsibility that I hadn't learned those particular KEYS, until now, as the WORD says in Timothy, to study to show thy self approved, well I do that now, I'm so grateful to our HOLY SPIRIT guiding me into all TRUTH, Isaiah 28:10, Precept upon Precept, Line upon Line.
I Petition(Pray) for my Sisters and Brothers to open their eyes, their hearts to the total TRUTH of GOD'S WORD, HIS Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding and for our Preachers and Teachers to be totally honest and stop being afraid of the Government and maybe losing some citizens(members) because the Preachers and Teachers no longer tickle their ears. Tha Church is in a messed up state, we as citizens of GOD'S Kingdom have so much Power to overcome the enemy. It’s a Sad situation when satans kingdom out does the KINGDOM OF GOD, only because the Preachers and Teachers are afraid to trach the Whole TRUTH and Nothing but the TRUTH. I admire you Dr. Tony Evans, and will continue to pray for you and your family.
