Its a great clipper. I have been using it on my clients. Very solid piece of equipment. I bought the X trimmer to complete the combo. They are both beasts and the color also gets alot of compliments from the clients.
I agree, opened it today at work, used it to do a BALD FADE right away, and I already had the trimmers, I’m very pleased with it, it is a bit heavier than I’m used to. I’m a female barber, I’ve been using rebels by Stylecraft, but I don’t mind that they’re a little heavier b/c they cut great!!

So far all the Tpob clippers I’ve tried I ended up using for a couple days and returning back to Amazon. The Slime, XO Slime and Yeti. The all just aren’t impressive. The cut ok on straight hair clients but majority of my clients are Black and Coarse haired and the clippers just do cut well through the hair. Fading is ok , debulking is horrible . The feel sturdy and heavy aside from the Slime but they just don’t perform to my standard. Luckily I was able to return and get refunded . I’m waiting for the PLAY in the mail. Hopefully I get better results because the clipper design is amazing and Slime green is my favorite color so I want so bad to add A pair of these to my arsonal . On the other hand . Those XO/X trimmers are monsters !!! Best in the game .even better than Babyliss . I’m waiting for the Clippers technology to catch up, not quite there yet IMO

Looks just like the cocco clipper , im seeing alot of clippers that look exactly like the same with different colors/brands on them . i.e/ lence pro- cocco /smartbrain mrd- style craft saber/ tpob goblin-stylecraft instinct. And thats just to name a few but all the prices are way different.
Mrd is the manufacturing. The branding and advertising campaign are based on sponsors paid to push units. Hope that helps.. ✌🏽

I have a smartbrain mrd trimmer that is identical to my style craft saber but paid 40$ for one and it 150$ for the other
@@illwillscuts yes, MRD made both.. Stylecraft put their name on it, and possibly some blade differences. Tell youtube barbers to scream it's the best, justify the mark ups.. voila.. ✅️

Those clippers are only good for thin hair tbh they hit on thin hair they cut slow like the magic clips gatta make a few passes but for thin hair no problem if you cut mostly coarse hair don’t recommend
Yeah haven’t cut a ton of different textures but they seemed plenty powerful. I wouldn’t imagine they have too much of a problem

He got some new ones he teased on his live yesterday and they look like a better version of the Cucko clipper. I recommend y’all look out for those. I got the Blackout Trolls with the new blades and they definitely cut like (if not better) than top market clippers.

How do you like it compared to the machete I know you chose the machete in one of your videos where does this clipper sit in that line up?
Machete body i definitely prefer but this is twice the clipper the machete is. Power, motor, sound.

1 thing I dislike about them is they're loud & I mean loud!!! Been trying to figure out a way to quiet them but nothing yet
They’re definitely not loud. Make sure they’re well oiled and the blade is tightened down. Mine were super quiet

I’ve used this clippers 2 times now and I’m finding it hard to fade out the line from the open no guard to the 1 open guard, the 0.5 guard is just not as good as the one I have with my Novah clippers
Shouldn’t have anything to do with the guard quality, may just need to close it more

In your opinion, can anyone learn to cut hair, or is it a skill that toue you're born with? And how long do you think it takes for someone new to get learn and get good at fading?
I've been trying to learn for better part of 6 months, and I'm still struggling bad.
you must walk to the ends of the earth and battle with many fearless warriors, then and only then you will find the GOLD TPOB SLIME hiding in the midst of the forrest, a chav will approach you must skin fade him in under 6 minutes, then vic blends will appear and give you a barber license

I think anyone can learn it. Just takes a ton of repitition to build up the eye for it. A year or two until you feel really comfortable is normal
