井上尚弥 (Naoya Inoue) is the #1 P4P KING 👑. Inoue is a four-weight world title holder, he’s undisputed in 2 weight classes, he fought 20 world champions and knocked all of them out, he has a 27-0 record with 24 of those wins coming by knockout, and he’s officially ranked as the number 1 P4P king on “The Ring”, which is known as the most prestigious boxing magazine, and they’ve been ranking boxing since 1924, that’s 100 years ago!
Inoue is fast, strong, he has a high boxing IQ, he’s a skilled boxer, etc. Inoue makes each match look like he’s performing a choreographed fight scene for a Hollywood blockbuster film. His punches are so clean, precise, every punch lands just right, and he almost never misses the target. I’ve never seen anyone make it look so clean before. Inoue is the most exhilarating boxer to watch!
Inoue has solidified himself in the boxing game and NO ONE can take that away from him. Let the haters hate. Inoue is gonna go down as a hall of famer, and he’ll be recognized as a top 3 boxer of all time!

I seriously do not understand what is wrong with these brain dead fans from my country that nit pick Inoue.. It's like they get fixated on the stupidist crap and can't see anything past their narrow opinion.. I mostly follow MMA but Nayoa Inoue captivated me and now I have to tune into every time he competes. I truly don't think I've ever seen a better display of talent in the sport of boxing. It's not just his skills but the way he utilizes them in the fight. His fight IQ and adaptability is INSANE. It almost doesn't seem human sometimes. On top of that he's making smaller weight classes look insanely impressive and apparently to these vocal boxing fans online, they say the small weight classes mostly aren't interesting. I don't look at it like that. When I see talent, I see talent. I don't go "Oh they are good, yeah but they would be better if they could fight Tank and fight in America" or some BS like that.. That's just one example of what those people say. Inoue has fought so many belt holding opponents. People might not know them but it doesn't take away from the success they all had until Inoue fought them. His fight against Donaire is insane because his orbital got broken and yet he fought thru it all 12 rounds and won! Then healed up and really evolved his boxing abilities into an entire other level after that which I didn't even know was possible because he was already so good. I love that he's not just shown dominance but shown he can overcome adversity in the rare moments that it does show up. Inoue really has grit and composure to add on to his array of abilities. I'm continuously impressed with this dude.

Yes, i train & watch MMA, but none of them can box as proven by the youtuber whose name i don't recall. There's one site that analyses MMA & Inoue's recent fight which only increases one's appreciation of his abilities.

@benmcreynolds8581 There's a few reason. Many of these Americans are not true fan of the sport and more fans of the boxers of themselves. I also don't want to put the racist card out there but a lot of these folks have these "nationalist" view and despise the fact that Inoue who is non-black, white and even hispanic is getting more recognition than guys like Crawford and Canelo. Many of these fans also don't follow all the weight divisions from low to high so they're ignorant when it comes to thinking that Inoue fought nobody when in fact he cleaned out the entire top division of 118 and 122. If they could just get past that Inoue is Asian and critique him from a talent/pure boxing point of view, they will realize that he's the best fighter in the world hands down. When you got guys like Tank Davis literally stating on these interviews that Inoue has the complete/total package of a boxer and would wake up early just to see him watch, you know Inoue is already special. Bob Arum even admitted on a recent interview that Inoue is the best fighter he had ever seen since he got in this industry in the last 60-70+ years. That's a really bold statement coming from Bob and need to be revered as such. Crawford is a top fighter but what he's doing is not good for the sport. He's inactive (fighting at most once a year) and he's hand picking his fights instead of fighting the next best boxer. Inoue is the complete opposite where he's fighting upward between "3+ fights a year", he's fighting all the best boxers in his division. Once he's done with one, he literally fights the next best fighter in the division. Not only is Inoue fighting all the best fighters in his weight class and these are "world title fights", he's knocking them all out. The monster is a different breed.

Moving up new div without a tune up fight and dismantle two unifed champions so easy and become undisputed! No one in boxing right now or even in history that achieved this legendary stats in just 27 pro career fight no one! Also his last 5 opponents were a 4 div champ and HOF donaire and a WBO champ Paul butler 2 unified champs Fulton and marlon, Fulton undefeated and beaten 9 undefeated fighters and marlon a hard hitting two div unified champ, and a hard hitting two div champ Luis nery , nothing but champion and HOF. We talking about boxing skills, without skills then you couldn’t achieved legendary stats like that, that’s why inoue is the GOAT in history, of course if you put inoue 122 in there with Ali Mike sugar etc inoue gonna get cooked, it’s like me fighting my younger brother that’s 10 years younger than me, but but if inoue the same weight and height as them pfp and with the same dangerous skill sets he has right now, and what he has done in boxing, there’s no doubt in my mind inoue gonna destroyed them like he did to everyone else right now at 122 and under, leave race card and weight aside and looking at their stats in the respective div and what they has done, that’ll make you the GOAT of boxing the monster

It's just coincidence. It just seems strange because for the longest time people had been taking it for granted that the best baseball players and best boxers were American. In Japan, we're just enjoying while it lasts. Of course, it is a good time to be a sports fan in Japan.
That said, in the lower weights of boxing, the Japanese have always been a force to be reckoned with (except in the late 90's), and because Inoue has changed the whole demographic of future potential boxers in his country, i.e. more and more children in Japan are taking up boxing as a sport from a young age, whereas in the past, it was usually the teenage delinquents that came into boxing just to brawl, I believe there is a good possibility that there will be a steady influx of good boxers from Japan in the lighter weights for the foreseeable future.
