This week is a very exciting week for us. We are breaking ground on our new shop after waiting months for permitting. I can't believe this is finally happening. After talking to @mr.sam-feelstheshine about the possibility of building his his dream car for almost a year we are finally taking a trip down to see the project and see if we can make it happen for him.

I have made several comments on Cleetus’s channel that he should have the guys all jump in and help Mr Sam build his 55. They could make great content, but more importantly he would get it finished fast. Mr Sam is not getting any younger and we all want to see him enjoying his dream car. He wants to hit some Drag & Drives and drive that 55. Please help Sam enjoy his dream by making things happen quickly. Mr. Sam deserves this. A lot of people will watch this build content because who it’s for. I believe this will get you a lot of attention with views and comments along with helping you grow your channel with new subscribers. Cooper’s most viewed video was a Mr Sam interview. I believe that video still holds his record for views. I know you will experience the same with his 55 content. Happy he picked you to build his dream car because it will get finished fast.🇺🇸🦅🏁

Exactly why I got out and changed direction at about 29 years old having worked the field for nearly a decade. Snapline and layout, Framing and stacking bb! Loved the job, the tear-up from the work though, not so much. 😆 Especially the lower back, Holy shit.
Yea, my gramps taught me at a young age to take care of my back. It's the rest of me that I screwed up. Lol. Blew out my knee at 15. And smashed lots of fingers. Thankfully still have all of those. But I love wrenching and building everything. Cars, houses, tree houses, oil fields equipment, I've done it all and love it all!! Won't stop just like grandpa
For Mr. Sam to say have at it. Don't worry about calling me for everything do what you want and think is best. Is one of the greatest compliments you could receive doing the work for him.

Your 100% right. Most older people are stubborn to change. But Sam is open-minded & understands some things ARE better now than in the past. I think its why he appears younger then he is.

I agree . I know you’re more than busy, but Sam needs that car to enjoy. My father is 76 and failing to cancer but he just bought his first new car ever…. The smile on his face was priceless.
What an honor. Accepting this job has got to be one of the easiest decisions CJ has made.
I really appreciate guys who could have BMW/Mercedes as daily drivers and Lamborghinis/Ferraris as their play toys but instead have a bunch of really cool cars that are kinda obscure to see in a collection together. Sam has good taste too. Like he has a Z06 parked next to an F150 lightning parked next to a Buick parked next to a Toyota. It's just super cool. Sam is a badass.

Sam is the greatest. Talking with him at the Indy 800 with my daughter was awesome. He even posted a pic of him and my daughter on his Instagram. Classy guy. 100%. I pray I am as great as him one day. And I'm not talking about possessions or money. Genuine awesome guy.

Mr Sam reminds me so much of my grandfather. The organization, taking care of things, hard work, etc. Even telling him before he passed, he'll never fully understand the values he instilled in me that I've been trying to pass along to my son. In the garage with the Supra, look on the shelf. All those cans are faced! And if you don't know what that means, I'm showing my age 😂. But house, yard, garage, immaculate! It's the little things and the appreciation of everything you have.

I could listen to Mr Sam talk all day, reminds me of my late uncle. I miss cracking a few cold ones and listening to him tell stories in between passes at the local strip's test n tune on a random Thursday.
Always let the old fellas talk as long as they want. That's how they'll chain stories together and you end up hearing some of the craziest shit ever. If you cut in or add things of your own they may forget. I've learned to sit in silence and wait for the rambling to stop before the story goes on hahaha.

Sam is very detailed oriented, and it's a big deal to find a person you can trust to work on your stuff. I am just like same and I can see why he is going with CJRC even though it's not his type of build he knows he will get that mix of racecar and streetcar he wants with the CJRC perfection and attention to detail.
When you announce that you were going to stop building high level cars unfocus on finishing off the ones in the shop, possibly doing a few cars for friends etc and concentrating on RUclips this is exactly what everybody needed, from the legend that is Mr Sam, CJRC I'm the viewers at home. I've watched most of your videos but subscribe instantly before watching this one. This man is a prime example of somebody living the American dream

Hey Cameron, when you get to Sam's 55 you should talk with Bill Hoskins from Old man's garage because he had his dad's 55 restored at House of Pearls and I don't remember off hand who's sheet metal they used but they were ready impressed with the fitment of the parts and the minimal amount of rework to get the perfect fit. I would encourage you to check it out, it might even make some of the work you're going to do smoother.

The freedom Sam is giving CJ is definitely an honor, It really shows how much confidence Sam has iin CJ. However, it's also a double edged sword. On one hand, it makes things easier because you don't have to get approval for every decision. On the other hand, it puts pressure on you to always make the perfect decision. After watching the CJRC channel for a while, and watching CJRC content on Cleetus' channel, I have no doubt whatsoever that CJ and his crew will pull it off.
