WearPro 3.4.0 for Android. Unable to upload photos. After selecting a photo and pressing Sync, nothing happens, and after about a minute, a message says that synchronization has failed. Other data synchronizes correctly.
I see that DTno.1 "Management" did an update of the software on 31 July, so WHY HASN'T "MANAGEMENT" RESPONDED TO MY SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR HELP WITH THE *DEAD* WATCH I RECEIVED ON 30 JULY?!

hey I received my watch last night and it didn't last 3 hours of battery even when charging it to 100%. AFTER CHARGING IT STAY SO HOT WHAT IS THE PROBLEM OF THIS WATCH IS NORMAL?
Could you give us an update if they fix the photos and videos bug. If i am able to put my own videos and photos and actually see them then im so getting this watch

Don't know about name and number as I don't go so far as to transfer over my contacts and conduct test calls, etc. Just too many watches to do this on every one. If you (or anyone else) gets one and tries contact based calling, please let us know. As for heating, battery, brightness, all OK from my limited testing.
I heard that, contrary to the manufacturer's claims, it is not possible to play your own videos on the watch. Apparently you can copy the videos to the watch, but they don't appear in the video player. The same should also apply to photos. do you know more about it?
Absolutely true. In fact, for photos, there's no photos folder in the memory like the music folder that I could see. I can't find the stock photos to delete them and I can't add photos and have them show up on the watch. I'm reporting this (and more) to them in hopes it can be fixed with a firmware update. That should be possible as it has nothing to do with the hardware, just the player apps and links to the storage.
You're welcome. When we cut through all the exaggerations, I generally find the products are actually pretty good. It's just that they are trying to make them appear more awesome than they really are. That's why we gotta keep checking them. Appreciate your feedback.
Bought SmartWatch but get the following "Cannot pair with Smartwatch due to incorrect PIN or password" All other settings are good, battery, autostart, notifications etc.
Did I miss something or did you not cover any of the multitude of built-in watch faces this watch offers? Maybe there will be an upcoming full review that covers it?
@@SWT yep I totally missed that. Thanks for pointing it out. This watch has the unique ability to download new faces directly from the watch without using the phone app. I'm looking forward to trying it when mine arrives.
Well I don't see any way to contact you directly, so I'm leaving another comment, in hope of your reading it. As I commented earlier, I used the "buying link" in the info accompanying the video to purchase one of these watches. The watch failed *completely* within five minutes of removing it from the box, showing a blank display ever since, no matter what I tried. That was on 30 July, and since then I have sent a half-dozen emails to the supposed "contact us" addresses (two of them, actually...), and have yet to receive a single reply or acknowledgement. If you know about any other way I might go about a) returning this obviously defective watch and getting a replacement, or b) getting a refund of my purchase price, I would really appreciate hearing back from you. Thanks...
Oh, sorry if there's confusion. It definitely does have severa always-on dials, and you can set the watch to have a short 5 sec timeout on the main dial then switch to the always-on dial, which can time out over a few seconds to black. However, if you set the main dial timeout to always-on, the actual always-on dial will never appear. If, instead, you leave the main dial timeout to anything less than always-on, and, instead, set the always-on timeout to always-on, then when the main dial goes off, the alway-on dial will take over and never go off. It's much easier to get the feel for it by playing with it than trying to explain it.
I'm very disappointed to report that I ordered one of these, and basically no sooner did I take it out of the box than it produced it's (obnoxious) intro noise and screen, then went dark and dead, and stayed that way, ignoring attempts at "factory reset" etc. Worse, I've tried emailing the Contact address about a refund or at least a replacement, and I've heard exactly nothing in reply. Ok, I'm out $30 or so, no tragedy, but I seriously would suggest avoiding these people.
the manufacturer is lying. It is not possible to load your own videos onto the watch and play them. I copied one of the three demo video files and renamed it demo_video_3.avi. this file is now in the demo_video folder. But I can't see this file displayed in the watch's video player. This proves that the problem depends not on a faulty codec. I also swapped the filenames of two of the demo videos for testing purposes. This means that the first video and the second video are now swapped. However, the thumbnails in the player have not changed. This means that the videos are now assigned incorrect thumbnails. This is evidence that the thumbnail files appear to be in an inaccessible storage area. Everything is once again a huge fraud on the part of the manufacturers.
Wow, that's wild. Thanks for the extensive testing. Sounds like only the three supplied videos (and perhaps photos as well) are all the watch will show. I wonder if deleting them from the watch, then rebooting it will make them inaccessible. I'll test that out when I get a chance. Feel free to add more feedback if you discover mor from your end.
After copying all the music & videos to my computer (couldn't find the photos on the watch to copy as there is no photos folder), I deleted them from the watch and rebooted. Video thumbnails were there but files were missing when attempting to play them. Photo thumbnails were there and still opened. Music was not available from the player. Reset the watch to restore everything. Surprise! The missing video files and music were NOT restored, so lost forever (good thing I backed them up first). Also, any other files I added to the 4GB storage were still there -- not erased. So the watch reset doesn't touch the contents of the 4GB memory. I copied back the original videos and music to their respective watch folders, and everything works again.
@@SWT I replaced one of the 3 demo video files with my own avi file. I also gave this file the name of the replaced demo video file. Unfortunately, playing the file failed. It should be noted that the file had a different resolution than the originals, which are encoded in 466 x 466. I would be interested to know if the file would have been playable if I had also encoded it in 466 x 466. Due to the fact that in one of my previous attempts, when switching demo video one with demo video two, both were swapped and were still playable, I think that if the file with which the original file is replaced with, is in the same format than can be played. That would ultimately mean that you could replace the three demo video files with your own video files, which would then also be playable. Only the thumbnails would be those of the original ones. It should actually be possible for the manufacturer to implement the features promised in advertising with a firmware update.
@@SWT Don't you have the opportunity to email the manufacturer to see if they could implement this in a future firmware update? I think you and your channel should have a greater impact on the manufacturer's decisions than any user without the corresponding reach in the consumer scene.
