One thing I find highly credible about this guy is that he's willing to say "I don't know". He's only passing on what he's heard, and is comfortable to dismiss questions he doesn't know the answer to by admitting as much. If jay was just there for the festival and a holiday I don’t understand why Lucy is going out of her way to introduce him to certain people. The gag order - it won't be an official thing, but these kind of things happen as owners and managers do not need or want police around their clubs and bars. Having your bars name associated with a missing persons case is like commercial suicide in a super competitive market like Tenerife, Ibiza, Mallorca etc etc. The staff won't be 'fired for speaking', they'll just be let go because 'theyre no longer needed' - all on gig contracts with little to no employment protection Also it's not a Spanish cultural thing (I spend half my time in Barcelona, half in London - so I'm not a pro, but somewhat aware) - the Spanish really looks out for each other However, what would be fair to say is that locals on Tenerife are 100% disillusioned by the British tourists - too often loud, drunk and not the nicest bunch to tolerate (so many people I know fit this description - it's just lad culture!) so I wouldn't be suprised if they aren't going out of their way to help too much...

From all the bits of evidence ive heard and seen. It sounds like lucy, set up a meeting between jay and someone else regarding the stolen watch. Lucy knew there was a risk of violence before setting up this meeting. But she was told no one will get hurt. Lucy proceeded to set up that meeting and go with jay to meet someone. During that meeting, there is cctv and audio where you can hear lucy screaming " you said he wouldn't get stabbed" "oh jay oh jay" im sorry. Lucy is now a witness to this if it happened and also very much involved. Lucy would have had access to jays phone as well. Or knew someone who would have had access to unlock jays phone. Lucy is the main suspect in all of this, she has connections between everyone and everything. Also why would jay feel the need to mention hes been cut by a cactus unless. The gag order - it won't be an official thing, but these kind of things happen as owners and managers do not need or want police around their clubs and bars. Having your bars name associated with a missing persons case is like commercial suicide in a super competitive market like Tenerife, Ibiza, Mallorca etc etc. The staff won't be 'fired for speaking', they'll just be let go because 'theyre no longer needed' - all on gig contracts with little to no employment protection
Also it's not a Spanish cultural thing (I spend half my time in Barcelona, half in London - so I'm not a pro, but somewhat aware) - the Spanish really looks out for each other
However, what would be fair to say is that locals on Tenerife are 100% disillusioned by the British tourists - too often loud, drunk and not the nicest bunch to tolerate (so many people I know fit this description - it's just lad culture!) so I wouldn't be suprised if they aren't going out of their way to help too much...

From all the bits of evidence ive heard and seen. It sounds like lucy, set up a meeting between jay and someone else regarding the stolen watch. Lucy knew there was a risk of violence before setting up this meeting. But she was told no one will get hurt. Lucy proceeded to set up that meeting and go with jay to meet someone. During that meeting, there is cctv and audio where you can hear lucy screaming " you said he wouldn't get stabbed" "oh jay oh jay" im sorry.
Lucy is now a witness to this if it happened and also very much involved. Lucy would have had access to jays phone as well. Or knew someone who would have had access to unlock jays phone. I think police are keeping eye on social media like they do in any case’s that go big. So wouldn’t this cause trouble for the so called workers. I’m thinking from a legal standpoint. It’s all hearsay until these people talk for themselves and the police confirm it.
