I've not been feeling well so I didn't go on a huge van life adventure today, but I had to get out the house and spend a night in the camper van. And where better to go than down to the beach!
In todays video I decided to try out the EV charging port, and it worked amazingly well! As I currently have no solar panels, this is ideal and I can now go on adventures knowing that I can get more electricity whenever I like!

My Fiat Ducato camper van is still fairly basic, but with the electric vehicle charging option, it's coming together nicely. Although over the next few weeks I'm going to really push on with the van build, and get the UK and Europe van life adventures underway!

Lots of people saying they didn’t like it, but for me, this was excellent. Never thought of using the EV charge points for anything other than an EV.
As someone else said in their comment, Charger that don’t see enough use won’t be maintained, or may even be removed altogether, so using one that’s idle is actually helpful for people that need them.
Can you give some more info about the practicality of it? Like where to get the coupler and any other equipment to make it charge a 12v, or 24v system, rather than the high voltage used by EVs?

If you like beach side camping you should try camber lovely sand dunes or greatstone it has some beach side location to park up

Next time you do the pizza bagels add some shredded sun dried tomatoes, basil and oregano. Tikka and Mexican chicken as alternative to bbq but just the herbs and sun dried will be amazing.

If you put a coupling port on the van for and external electrics connector no one would know it’s not a phev conversion. Get a custom phev sticker. For your portable home electric van.
Have fun with the electrics I wonder if you can configure your leisure batteries for fast ev charging.

Your projector screen: I use a piece of white Foamex as a screen when I am camping. It is the same material they make estate agent boards out of. It's light and reflects well. Couple of bits of velco would do you right before you get your main screen, but the sheet makes my eyes go funny. You're welcome
Good idea mate but I’ve spent so much time (and money) doing temporary bits to the van so I’m just focusing on getting it done properly now. But yeah it is a bit strange seeing a wonky screen 😂

We have a racing pigeon that’s ram away and comes to my house 7am and 5pm for his breakfast and dinner lol I want an ecoflow they look awesome

any travel plans with the van for this summer?
If you had kept going straight sticking to the coast on your left for another 15-20 minutes you’d have come across Norman’s bay beach. I use to camp there in my camper before I stupidly sold it 😭 you can actually park on the beach and camp (your not supposed too) but always loads of campers there and some people seem to be living there in their vans! Check it out one day it’s a lovely place to wake up 👍🏼🤙🏼

I'm interested to see what you do with the setup in this van as with the ecoflo there's not really any point doing any wiring to add sockets etc, the max you really need to do is wire in a solar panel.

The cable itself is just a standard ev cable, there’s an adapter you can get for the delta pro, it’s on their website. But it’s only for the delta pro rather than for any other power station

The cable is just a type 2 ev cable mate. I just got a fairly cheap one off Amazon. And the adapter is specifically for the ecoflow delta pro. But hopefully they’ll start putting this feature on all the smaller power stations too!

Yeah that’s right. Unfortunately you can only do it with the delta pro at the moment but hopefully soon you’ll be able to do this on all of them!

Just get the adapter from ecoflow and then you can use any type 2 cable

Sorry to bother you if youve already given this information out but what model of delta pro are you using.
Getting my van turn of the year so want to get what i need in advance, love your channel and just hope i enjoy the life as you seem to m8 😅
There’s only 1 version of the delta pro (which is what I had in this video) but I’ve used a range of other power stations. They’re brilliant things and enough for some people. But not many of them (apart from one of the bluetti ones) can output more than 10 amps on the 12v side. So for things like diesel heaters they won’t work. I’ve now got a full lithium battery set up and just use power stations as back up
