As an english speaking sewer, who has learned a small amount of french, I am aware that the words you use in your language, will not always translate accurately. In english, the words most often used for leftover fabric bits, are scraps, and larger pieces can be remnants. I use both emperial and metric, in a lot of cases, metric makes better sense, learned both in school, yeah i'm that old. I use metric for garment sewing, our fabric is sold in metres, we still get tape measures with both, but to do patchwork and quilts, I found that inches are much easier to work with. 1/2" and1/4", etc are easier to measure than .4 cm or 4mm, 1.7 cms etc, mm are used in australia, in building and carpentry, but too small and difficult to remember so "many" numbers for quilting, America and and the english, still use inches for patchwork, the us still sells fabric as yardage. Putting blocks together with 2", 3", and 4" patch units are a lot easier to design with, they much more easily divide into 12". I'm not saying you have to change anything, you are obviously innovative and well experienced at what you do, it's just that if you use different english words and add measurements in inches, your international audience may be more able to understand? Like for example 15cm / 6", ( I am aware that is not quite accurate,) is easier to understand? Keep having fun with your crafting, all the best. Have you seen the fabric or yarn clips, like the clover Japanese brand, which make holding thicker, or awkward things together more easily than pins? For leather, they do not leave holes.

Написано килимок із залишків😂😂😂
Шкода що залишки тканини не доставили вам естетичного задоволення😅
