      Tmac did struggle with the Zone defense. It's one of the reasons his numbers went down. This was before injury. Y'all need to hush. Y'all either didn't see tmac play or only focused on highlights. You don't look at how te plays and systems are functioned. Tmac said it himself, the zone defense messed him up.

      The zone was put in to help defenses on Shaq…. Before that it wasn’t allowed. TMac numbers were up after the zone was introduced in the 2001-2002 season…. He went from 25.6 in that season to the next session it was 32.1…. Gotta know your history before calling someone out

    T-Mac brought the Magic to the playoff while they had a horrible team meanwhile KD wins with an all star team, I am a magic fan so call me biased but T-Mac would dominate

      Nah man you're accurate. Ppl associate KDs dominance with a stacked team. Put him in tmac team back then, and he's not the same scorer.

      Lmao but did you forget that kd also brought the initially not so great thunder to the playoffs? Has everyone completely forgotten what kd did in his thunder era???????? Has everyone forgotten that kd hasn’t had a single season where he wasn’t one of the absolute most dominant players in the nba while T Mac had a lot of struggling seasons???????

      @izzy9189 5 лет назад +2

      Bruh KD was a baby in the nba when he took okc to the NBA finals, knocked off the spurs and the then hot clippers. He also took okc to the playoffs when westbrook was injured in his mvp season, Wtf is your point.

    I'll take T-Mac. Better handles. Better footwork. More creative scorer. Better man up defender. It would be close but T-Mac edges KD in all those categories imo. Great match up though.

      Nathan K. that’s wtf i’m saying!!! kd is a much taller tmac and kd has no weakness offensively and is a better defender than tmac ever was.

    • @dhitta7349
      @dhitta7349 5 лет назад +8

      @Nathan K. Actually, when I watched T-Mac play live, I didn't think much of his defense but according to advanced metrics his defense was better than Kobe's at that point in their respective careers but that points to team defense so you may have a point there. As far as efficiency and creativity offensively all while playing in an era where more contact was allowed defensively T-Mac still produced at an extremely high level. I like KD but he would've gotten beat up in that era. Not as bad as in the '80's and '90's but... T-Mac handled his own but he even eventually wore down. With that worry frame KD would've broke down early also. With all that said I'm not going off of nostalgia. I'm just giving my opinion. I think that T-Mac gets the slight edge in a 1v1 best of 7 series. They both could win any given game. That's why I said it would be a great match and that it would be close. Not a wide margin like JR Smith of the Golden State Cavaliers eluded to.

      @Nathan K. Oh and by the way ( in my Stephen A. Smith voice) I believe that the range is equal. And I wanna add that T-Mac and KF both make it look so damn easy.
