- I went to New Orleans (and it was so wonderful) so of course I had to film a luxury shopping vlog. I go to really amazing vintage designer jewelry shop that I had such a fun time exploring, and to Canal Place to see what goodies Saks had to offer. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *preluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
The bag I bought at *preluxscom* cost $185, which is of better quality than the one I bought at a friend's place for $600 before.
We love Cassie's honest and unfiltered comments on the overpriced stuff. Makes the shopping vlog more entertaining. 😂
So cool, all I wear are knockoffs! Who cares...lots of women and men are pretending. I call them "pretenders" I like *condup* I can buy either for less

This is a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually touristy ones), so I usually go in *condup* to go shopping
It's a shame they keep messing up the painted edges with heavy paint. Stop buying "real" products and stop giving your hard earned money to billionaire corporations! All these luxury goods companies are making record profits, especially since the past three years, and fakes are not hurting them in any way. A woman wearing *condup* What most people see as an advertisement is the real thing.
Actually, a bag is just a bag for storing things. Even if you buy a fake one, you can still use it. It shouldn't have been sold so expensive in the first place *hotdups*
So fun fact if you watch movies and TV shows from the 80’s/90’s the ladies had these very statement clip on earrings and the reason why clip ons were preferred was that when the wearer picked up the phone they would have to take the earring to answer the phone. Watch Designing Women.

But I don't care because they just want to spend money on things they don't need, as a mother I prefer high quality and durable products like I did 3 years ago *condup* : Quality of LV wallets we purchased Enough for our whole family.

Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *esluxs* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.
Nowadays Gorgeous bag, however, for saving money and high-quality bags, try t *esluxs* the rest of the money goes to needy students at schools to pay for their education, not much, but do help them a little.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *hotdups* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals

@19:30 I believe those "hefty little gold these things" are called aglets. To be fair the only reason I remember that is because there was an Archie comics story about a character carrying a bag of aglets so he could repair shoelaces and everyone else thought he was smuggling baby eagles.

I remember saving up to buy a Chanel bag a few years ago when I already had the money to buy it. I gave up because I couldn't justify buying the bag at this price. Instead, I used the money to buy our second home. This is a better investment than a bag. Also, it’s great that I now have a *condup* Chanel bag.

Fabulous video! I love to see what luxury shopping is like in cities other than NYC or Los Angeles. I also love to see the Chanel buy in different cities. They had a very nice selection of RTW. That vintage jewelry store was fantastic! I always see Chanel jewelry but l have never seen such a huge selection of vintage jewelry from Gucci, Dior, YSL, and Ferragamo. Not even at What Goes Around Comes Around.

Oh no Cassie, you poor thing! I burned my chin area with a curling want, it took me ages to get rid of the mark. That vintage shop was amazing, I didn’t want you to leave. At first I was like vintage Chanel jewellery 🙄 cos whenever I see it (UK vintage) it looks so cheap and tired, but that place had stunning pieces in amazing condition! Loved it all.
I appreciate the direction Burberry is heading into, especially the introduction of the blue and green. But the prices are outrageous. Have you seen the Wool Duck Hat on their homepage? You should. 😭
There's some excellent shopping in NoLa. I used to fly there annually for the French Quarter Festival held in the spring. I miss the place. Was last there in 2019. Had to cancel the 2020 trip.
As for clip-on earrings, all of my Chanel ones were clip-ons, but bought in Paris in the 1980s and 1990s. I still have two or three pairs from my original collection, along with brooches and bracelets, but have sold many pieces in order to streamline my original collection.
As for the Saks that you were in, I've found some nice clothing items there along with well-stocked items and in a variety of sizes. Here at home, items get sold out very fast.
Also inside that same mall with Saks, used to be the Mignon Faget jewelry store, but which relocated to Magazine Street. It's famous for its stackable Halo Bangle bracelets in various colors. I have collected stacks of them. over the years to NoLa. Plus, there are also silver pieces and a really great NoLa-centric houseware collection of drinking glasses, etc. Worth a visit.

I was a kid in the 80s but clip on earrings are still my favorite when I want a statement earring. They are much more comfortable and don’t stretch your ear hole. The other good thing is that you just pull it off when you answer the phone. AND .. if you have little kids, when they grab your earring, you don’t worry about needing stitches.

My friend sold the *condup* and it looks like the real thing you showed. It even comes with an authenticity card that matches the serial number of each bag. But her fake was $500.
