unfortunately it isn't going to happen until the streams are cleaned up. With the people living under the bridges and waste being dumped it will always have bacteria. The State isn't even close to doing this. I've heard the State say it is transportation and transportation say it is the State. So what gives. They both serve the community; so maybe the State / City / Private sector charities can get together to help this project make it goal. Not no special project but sit down on company time together and discuss who is responsible for what. Oh maybe those guys that got that 64% raise can DO SOMETHING... That would be great to see them accomplish something. Would love to see the Ala Wai clean but yeah, no way would I stick my toe in there right now.
