Nothing wrong with the pocket 2 I'll have you know lol. I still use mine and I think it's really good quality. Wish I could afford the 3 though. Thornwick Bay is beautiful and Flamborough Head. One of my favourite coastlines. Not watched any of the footie.
Glad you're on the mend... used a pocket 2 up to recently when i replaced it with a pocket 3 ...great little camera and good quality but the screen is a bit of a struggle in bright sunlight being so small.. Always remember to centralise the gimbal when you turn it on as they all have a tendance to wander (even the 3) .. but a very versatile camara and with really good mic packages.

I already gave it a short test and can see it’s not as good as the osmo action 4 but then again it won’t be due to lens size ect. Cheers for tips mate appreciate it.
Dead right about both the picture quality and the tiny-ness of the screen on the P3. My fingers are a bit clumsy for the touch sensitive minute screen and my eyesight struggles with instructions on it. I've broken the joystick twice already and nearly lost filters etc. I might go back to my trusted old (12 years!) Panasonic video camera for hill walking and (like Rayondo) use the P3 for stealth video mainly.
@TerryMcGearyScotland might be worth looking at the action 4 Terry. It's a brilliant camera for hiking with. Also totally waterproof and can take some knocks! ; the Action 4 has a 1 over 1.3-inch sensor, whereas the Pocket 3 has a 1-inch sensor. I think for what you do (Hiking) I would go for that.
@TerryMcGearyScotland also Terry it's great for point and shoot. All you have to do is press record and you are away! I absolutely love mine. You will see a few of my recordings where I've used it coming from Scotland.
Glad your health is picking up Raymondo. I didn't realise there was difference between male/female caps. What's that all about? . Lots of breaks is definately a good thing if you can do them!
Ironically England got through without kicking a ball which is probably just as well cos they are so boring… I love my pocket 3, so much better than my GoPro, it’s delicate because obviously it has a mechanical gimbal but honestly I love it… as for the cap… I just don’t understand 😬
I actually filmed this yesterday before I knew they were on of the third best at least. we need to win the group not come second or we have Germany and me and you both know how that will go. I couldn't afford the Osmo pocket 3 or I would have bough it. wife already annoyed lol The cap had a hole in the back for ponytails & even though its large/xl its a little tight. I want a Tilley hat but that's got to wait lol I have a couple of New era hats so I'm all good lol

Yeah it’s got a pony tale hole and it’s a little tighter that a males! Oh yeah it’s not easy having breaks away though because of times and costs!
