Thank you, Stacy, for podcasting and not waiting a month for Tracy. I enjoy watching you both, but was excited that you did it on your own and was inspired by your makes! Japan is on my bucket list and I hope to make it my next international trip in a few years. Wishing you both all the best! ❤
Great episode! Thank you for podcasting alone. Your Aimee Sher knits are beautiful. I’m working my way through the Oolong top but now I want to knit the Coloringbook Raglan.
Thanks so much for watching! My Oolong tank swatch is soaking as I type this message, and I can't wait for it! I love the fit of Aimee's patterns I have knitted so far.
I'm so so glad you had such a great experience in Japan!!! Your Aimee Sher knits are lovely and such staples to have in your outfit rotations. Take care and talk soon friend!!~Stephanie
Thanks Stephanie! Aimee's patterns fit so well, at least the ones I've knitted so far. Your cardi with the buttons your hubby made is so cute and definitely one I want to knit.
So glad you did this video! You did a great job by yourself. Love both of your finished tops, but especially like the Phoebe Top. It looks great on you. I agree with you on both the tipping and the walking. It used to be that you only tipped people in jobs that paid less than minimum wage, but now it seems you’re supposed to tip everyone….how much? Who knows…. Since we retired a few years ago, my husband and I are lucky enough to be able to spend 3 months of winter in Mazatlan, Mexico, and we walk just about everywhere we go ( although we do have to bring a cab back from the grocery store 😊). I miss being able to walk everywhere now that we’re back. Glad you had a great trip. Hope Tracy is having a great trip too!
Thanks so much for watching. Glad I'm not the only one with the same thoughts about tipping! Yes, figuring out how to get more walking in is such a challenge for us Americans that live outside the cities. Why don't our city planners do a better job of ensuring every area is walk friendly?
So happy to have discovered your lovely channel. Beautiful knits ❤ Totally agree with your thoughts on Japan, such a beautiful country and the Japanese are so lovely and welcoming
Hello from Tokyo :) It was nice to hear about your trip to Japan, I totally agree: it’s stationery heaven here 😊 I loved your beautiful tops , thank you for sharing :)
I had to pause but just finished watching the full video: and omg you are a Travelers notebook user too?! It is so nice to see a fellow TN user and knitter. I use my TN for documenting my knits and projects , as well as journaling too ❤ Do you journal about your knitting projects in your TN?
I would love to go shopping in Japan. Excellent job on your Coloring Book Tee. The color is fabulous! 🧶I want to try Amano Chaski yarn. The drape is very nice. And it think it would be perfect for these 90+ degree days here in Eastern NC. I prefer short sleeves as well. And I also don't like wearing stripes. Love your Phoebe Top! I just went to Ocracoke last month. It's a wonderful place.
I totally understand your thoughts about “tipping” Now I feel we are forced no matter how we enjoyed the service. Also I agree people don’t care of anything! People should be proud to work and do what they do. There are no “bad” jobs as long as you care about it!
I just found your podcast and subscribed. I lived in Japan 20+years ago and I really enjoyed hearing about your trip! I’ve been back multiple times and lived in other parts of Asia. I couldn’t agree more about the tipping culture we have here in North America! I hate it too! And customer service in Asia is next level, so much so that I can’t even be bothered to eat out here anymore as I’m always disappointed with the service and then having to figure out what to tip for it!
OMG ! You went to Japan🤯 ! Actually, we'll be going on October !!! I will definitely check out the Amimono yarn shop and also Daruma. It will be our first time with our boys as we already went to Japan back in 2006 for our honey moon ! I'm very looking forward to this trip, even though, all the preparations before traveling are a bit nerve racking 😅 I'm glad you liked your trip to Japan. Thank you so much for sharing !
Jenny! I'm so excited for you!!!! I'm already looking forward to going back! I can't wait to hear about your trip! Let me know if you have any questions.
I use a few products, and alternate periodically. Actually in this video I'm deep conditioning my hair with Amika hair mask, link here....www.sephora.com/product/amika-hydro-rush-intense-moisture-hair-mask-with-hyaluronic-acid-P506156?country_switch=us&lang=en&skuId=2689750&om_mmc=ppc-GG_17789370957___2689750__9009905_c&country_switch=us&lang=en&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwydSzBhBOEiwAj0XN4K-6XIzkusQ05tY6O0erkZLqzlYWyXv1wyMNbwfhBRccydRH9KqRARoCkmQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Your did a great job recording on your own. Of course, I enjoy it when it’s the two of you too. Japan sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! Seems we have a lot in common! Wow, you've been to Ocracoke! I'm wondering how many people know of the place?!!
You are doing a great job by yourself.

Totally agree. Long time ago I heard someone say do the best job no matter how menial the task or what you are doing. Thanks for your comment!

Hello :) don’t forget to add WALNUT to your list of yarn shops to go to in Tokyo 😊
@@mylifeknits Thank you for the recommendation 🤩 I hope my husband and my sons won't mind too much being dragged to yarn shops 😆
