      @@jamesjacobs6601 I just used a deep casserole dish. This year I'm using 2 aluminum 1/2 pans.

      Yes, 1 cup. I use 1/2 cane sugar and 1/2 brown.

    Authentic sweet potato casserole never had cinnamon in it!

    Making this now but I added a few things to it: some lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, pumpkin spice, and a tiny bit of almond extract. The lemon makes it taste so fresh and lasts a little longer vs without it when my mom used to make sweet potato pies 🤗
