When you made this video, did you ever think you would end up working with STL to make a plugin of it? I bought it just the other day, and I'm blown away by how good it sounds :D
the presence affects a lower range, centered roughly around where it sits on a Diezel...so it's grabbing some high mids as well. the sizzle really just affects the very high sizzling presnce (kinda where it sits on a 5150)

I'd be curious as to how the clean channel compares to the classic "clean" amps (I'm thinking Fender Twin Reverb, or Vox AC30, why not a Mesa Lonestar), because most high gain amps seem to lack in that aspect. Could you possibly make a comparison video ? I also found it funny how the clean channel with drive has more fizz than the high gain channel.
I don't have many dedicated clean amps at my disposal right now. but the driftwood sure has the nicest clean channel I've heard in a high gain amp...I don't miss my old Twin Reverb.
Hey Lasse, love the tones you're getting out of this thing, sounds super tight with your Mesa IR's. Do you think the stock Cab simulation on the Torpedo Live is any good? or do you always prefer to use your own IRs/3rd party?

The part with the sizzle on "5150 mod" sound the best to me. Really agressive but tight and clear. That's really good !

cragginshred I totally agree, I think the mods are the most important for guitar time. especially for high gain applications.

Sharp seems similar to 6505 presence. Both amps seem sound better with that over 2:00
