Borana is a tribe who used to be historically own Gedo Region which is now a days part of somalia regional state . For example, Odoo Luqi, Elgombo, Elwaqi. The clan like Reer Hasan, and Jidde Tribe are Borana descedents .

Jirma (RiP) recorded all these songs for me personally in his ROOM in Eastleigh in December 1976 (45 years ago) just before I left for UK. His drummer was called Adan. I think we were related ... we were both KARAYU SIBU, apparently "Oromo Royalty" as someone in London teased me a few years ago.
