  • Uthman bin Affan (RA) was a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, and the third caliph.
    His reign as a Caliph saw significant administrative and economic achievements, but some of his policies drew unsatisfaction and rebellion from the people, which eventual led to his unfortunate assassination and martyrdom.

      The answer is that they were not Sahabas. They were group of egyptians, syrians and iraqis who took control of Medina at the time when people of Medina were in Mecca for Hajj.

      ​@@logicalindian9227 They were new muslims. Some of them were children of Sahabas as well like the guy who caught Usman R.A's beard was actually a son (Muhammad Bin Abubakr) of Abu Bakr. Usman R.A has reminded him that your father i.e., Abu Bakr used to respect this beard.
