Billy and his wife were with him the day he died! In almost every interview everyone agreed that Billy Smith was the closest one to Elvis, even more that last year of his life. Hell, he was divorced from Precila almost 4 years and Jerry lived in California for God sakes.

Being bitter & judgemental towards Priscilla is not good for your soul.Priscilla decision to leave him was to gave Elvis freedom to continue what he loved most his career & lifestyle of women & drugs.Priscilla cannot stop him for what he really loved.Yes Elvis loved Priscilla & his daughter but he was not matured enough to handle such responsibilities as being a husband & a father at the same time being responsible to his career his men that surrounds him & his fans.He was a public commodity & that was a problem.Being immatured his priority was his career he do not know how to adjust his time & personal needs between his family & his career.Priscilla being younger than him who have just grown to become an adult & a wife & mother thought that She could hold on to Elvis & that he could divide his time between his family & his career was met with rude awakening.Elvis continued to act as if he was single & not a married man he thought Priscilla whom he groomed to be a perfect wife & will follow his command will always be waiting at home whenever what time or days he can be home.Priscilla was taken for granted she feels she is not a martyr while Elvis was going astray & having fun with other women.She loved him so much that giving them both freedom was the answer to their problem.They never remarried they were close to each other after divorced.so get over it your bitterness towards Priscilla you cannot change their destiny & their lovelife.Priscilla is Elvis wife no matter what happened. And you did not live in Priscilla's shoes so you do not have the right to judge her & the men in Elvis entouraged, only God can judge

Susie, do you mean that Billy Smity did something bad? He was very close to Elvis, he was the one with LInda who was allowed to enter his bedroom. Elvis himself, at every time in the night, when he was troubled went to Billy's and even slept with him in the same bed, because we know that he didn't like to sleep alone, he used to have blackmails and sometimes he was sleepwalking. I find so strange that Priscilla and even Lisa-Marie never mention him ,never have a picture with him.Elvis loved him so much and he confided to him everything.
Then why you never hear of Billy smith often then, how do you now Priscilla and Lisa never mention Elvis they talk about him all the time in interviews.

I'm afraid I didn't quite understand your comment. I didn't say that Priscilla and Lisa never mentioned Elvis, I said that tthey don't name Billy Smith and that I never saw Billy in an interview with them,but there is often Jerry Shliling although Billy is Elvis' first cousin.

Though it is true that both Elvis and Jerry were competing for Myrna Smith at the time, Myrna Smith gave into Jerry because he came off more of a committed man than Elvis who was fighting his own demons since he came back from the army.
