I myself barely use snipers but whenever I do, I definitely use a melee for faster movement and it makes sense to switch to your knife after firing one shot with any sniper esp bolt action ones like Dlq or locus but some sniper mains just go overboard at switching to their knives and that affects their accuracy in a negative way sometimes.

I realized that after you max out a sniper, you can literally take off all attachments and play faster. It’s so much more stable. My normal sniper kills were around 10-15 and now it’s 24-32 average.
What I do when the enemy is better at me at shootouts like these is just to run around with a knife and kill them with melee. The moment you kill them frequently with this tactic makes them change their strategy and that could provide your teammates a breathing window too to retaliate even a little bit. ☺️ However, if the situation is still the same, the only thing you can do is get a lot of kills as much as possible to get that MVP OR take his advice and quit the game. 😅
How Do I Became an Marksman Sharpshooter at the Long Distance for the Support: Use 338 or 300 Magnum Calibres and make them effective at the far distances, the more firepower the better, I can likely to steady shoot with my M14 EBR since it may pack me a power at any distance, remember that if using M24 with the Calibre 338 Lapua, use the Compensator to decrease the recoil that is release on you gun
