As a rugby lover, the ultimate was to watch David Duckham flummox defences with his devastating sidestep. The rush of excitement that produced gave me a feeling of what heaven must be like. I was lucky enough to see him in the flesh several times on the 1971 Lions tour of NZ. RIP, David, thanks for the memories.
