Indicator stalk? Now the only thing missing is an instrument cluster and you can build yourself a whole car interior at home. If my G29+Shifter were to break or if i want to upgrade, Moza seems like an awesome choise, especially because the modularity and the upcoming indicators. Nice review!
Haha yeah you're right. This wheel and the potential release of the indicator stalks quite soon are probably the biggest leap forward in realism we've seen for ages! Thanks for watching 😀
I use simagic, honestly price is around the same but moza isnt the best, ive heard bad reviews on them and used a few myself, the R9 dosent feel the best with feedback and some of the rims are just tacky plastic so try look for alternatives too
@@jude_6339 I haven't done any research when it comes to wheels/simracing equipment, so i would definetly look up more reviews and other brands. But the indicator stalk would definetly a selling point for me, i wanted something like that ever since i got my G29
Honestly, I'm holding out for the HORI truck wheel. It's not direct drive but it's got a horn and way more buttons, and a real nicer shifter. This does look nice though!
I've heard the HORI wheel feels kind of cheap, and the force feedback isn't that great. It does look cool but I wouldn't consider it a premium product.
Got one about a month ago but the clamp is still not available here in Sweden. Ive tried it with the standard base but that kind of ruins the immersion. For the shifter I acctually converted my g27 shifter to a truck shifter with an ardunio and hidding the cabeling inside the stick, Replaced the knob with a real car one that now holds the 2 button switches for splitt and HiLo. It was a fun DIY. Now days you get them anywhere it seems.
Looks great and the add-on with the wiper and turn signals is literally a dream come true for non-racing simulations. Just wish they would make it compatible with other wheels. The problem though is that Moza wheels do not work with most of the games... They are not universal and have compatibility issues with plenty of driving games. While with a generic wheel like the Logitech ones you can just plug and play, with these you need support in game... I had a Moza wheel and returned it as it was not working with most of the games I wanted to play. Hopefully Moza products will become more "universal", because the chances that developers will add support is quite slim, and they can only rely on the support they add.
I'm really liking the wheel and can't wait for the indicator stalk add on! You're right, MOZA is not supported natively by a lot of games although in recent months games like BeamNG and Euro Truck have really improved their support for MOZA wheels. MOZA are still a relatively new company and I hope that game devs will be more proactive in catering for them.
@@SimulatorAdventures I hope so tool the wheel I had was great, and this one looks great too. But if it does not work in the games I play, it is just a 600 dollars paperweight on my desk :( And I am forced to play with the Logitech, which is a toy compared to these.
I'm not sure what you mean by "supported natively". All of these things are basically a collection of axis and switches that are mapped to various functions within a game. As long as the game recognizes the various inputs from the device then it has "native" albeit possibly inconvenient support. The only time I've had problems was with Virpil gear with more than 32 buttons. At one point Windows didn't support more than 32 buttons per device, its now up at 128 but there are still many games that are limited to 32. That's a game problem not a device problem. If the game doesn't have default mappings for a particular device then there is generally a way to do it manually. Do you mean some games didn't have a default setup for the particular device and you have to do it all manually? In my mind you are either complaining that the device is giving you too many options or the game is deficient. With great sim gear comes great mapping responsibility. ;-)
Yes, the truck mount will fit to any MOZA base. While it is designed to work best with the truck wheel you can use any rim if you want more adjustment for your setup.
I probably won’t get it as it is very expensive, I’ll stick with my T300 for now. In the future I’ll probably upgrade to a Fanatec CSL DD Ready2Race bundle. Great video though! 👍🏻
@@SimulatorAdventures That's true and I am thinking about buying one, full set with indicators add on as well, but it's not available yet, so I have to wait. Edit - There is also another one available called Hori Force Feedback Truck System and even looks better and has more functions
@@MSzat888 I wouldn't recommend the HORI wheel, which is also not out for a while. It looks good but it doesn't have proper force feedback and the pedals are incredibly cheap feeling apparently.
@@SimulatorAdventures sorry i mean can you operate speed and the brakes from the steering wheel like you do on a controller or do you also need the pedals?
@@JimmySlacksack You can but it would be very difficult to control. You can use Logitech pedals without their wheel base if you have an adapter. That's what I do right now.

Once I start getting adult money, I *_will not_* be doing adult things with it, and instead, just buy a full MOZA setup. One day, one day.
Now that's an epic plan 😎

Also, the indicator stalks are already included, you won't have to buy an extra table clamp either and it has a center pad for the horn

Have fun! It's an amazing wheel 😃
I would like to see some of these features standard on other, non-truck wheels as well if ur not specifically sim racing tbh
Yeah I know right? MOZA seem to have thought of everything with this wheel.

Technically not sponsored, although I'm very lucky to have been sent all of this stuff to review!

It looks great and a good adition to who likes ETS2 or ATS.. But it is a expensive addon to the experience so will hold on to it for now.
this wheel is amazing, especially for the price. This wheel is definitely worth buying if youre into truck sim

Can I use the truck mount to adjust my R5 base and wheel without having the Truck wheel, just the standard one?

This is really cool but why do you have the wheel angled so high up when driving? That's pretty much the parked vehicle position haha
I suppose it is quite high but it's also the camera angle. I'd say it's roughly between 20 and 30 degrees
I have waited so long for this video:)
Is the base included when you buy this wheel or do you have to buy it separately?
The base is separate. You can buy any of the MOZA bases and it is compatible with other companies too
