Hey Cloudsi, I just wanted to say you're doing great and I'm having a blast on this journey. Regardless of the naysayers complaining. Sadly there will always be people who claim to know what's best for you or the game. But in reality they don't-they just insert themselves unnecessarily because they can and want to be right. Definitely do what suits you best, at your own pace. The main story definitely has the habit of sucking you in, so the way you're playing makes total sense. Anyway thanks for all the work that goes into these videos-it's appreciated. Enjoy the rest of the ride!
Hey Cloudsi, Im watching this as I write this comment. Thank you for posting today and thank you for continuing Brok and Sindri's questline. I want to point you towards a couple YT creators you may wish to take a look at. Mapocolops and Symbalilly. Both of these gamers have a strong, lore based approach to their play throughs. Neither set out to 100% complete games and yet they tend to end up very close to 100%, that's what happens when you have a lore based game play. I do realize YT is always pushing creators to go with tiny little videos and there is for sure a time and place for things like that but story based games really dont benefit from such a meager style. You're still new to this so you eventually will decide on how you want to do it, I hope you settle on a more lore based style, one where YOU set the pace, YOU settle into your game and WE all get to explore all that rich, story laden lore with you. I prefer feasts to snacks ;)
Thanks for watching! When I did my Witcher 3 playthrough, I did a lot of side content and exploration, but it felt way easier to do with that game vs God of War for some reason. It may have just been the style of the side quests. I'm now unfortunately at a weird spot with the main story where it feels weird to just stop and explore, but I think I'll do another episode or two of side stuff, finish the main story and then go back and film more side content after. I want the pacing of the playthrough to make sense.
17:19 You managed to make use every single second of the Realm Shift. That is how you going to defeat Valkyries every time they launch their attack by using Amulet of Kvasir. 31:57 [talisman - Shattered Gauntlet of Ages] This has the potential to have 3 Enchantment Sockets. You need Dragon Tear for that. (1:06:51) If you slot in THOSE 'Former Strength', you can perform powerful 'runic attack'(kind of). 58:11 The ARROW indicator shows the direction of other enemy(ies) with flashing RED(incoming attack). Avoid from having your enemy(ies) on your back, it is risky. 1:14:32 You already STUNNED the Ancient, use (Axe Runic Attack) Wrath of the Frost Ancient into its chest. i guarantee you will be surprised. 1:16:29 [completed cipher - Niflheim] My suggestion.. visit the realm ASAP, and CRAFT armor from there. You need to get some resources first though. That should be your final armor, IF you do not want to get more headache of other armors. Upgrading armor of Niflheim will require resources from Muspelheim, be reminded of spending your resources. So what about the Armor which the Dwarves ask for its resource..? They are fine but the definition of Ultimate Protection is somewhat misleading. Brok/Sindri did not lie about its Ultimate Protection, however... .. only one set of the armor provides that Ultimate Protection and still with caveat. .. that caveat is irrelevant since you never make use of it ever. So... you want armor from Niflheim since you will need to craft Niflheim's armor anyway. (all of this just suggestion, feel free to choose your own 'path') Keep grinding. Cheers.

It is a great moment for the side content. It can be too difficult earlier in the game.
Glad you’re back Cloudsi. Missed you! But I hope you’re feeling better with some recharged batteries
Thank youuu! I am feeling better - now i'm just working on easing myself back into making content without burning myself out again lol
