I talk you through a full guide on how to create private matches (custom games) in Apex Legends. Private matches is now available to everyone to use in Apex Legends thanks to the Spellbound collection Event. Before only tournaments and top streamers could get private matches and private match codes. In this video I show how you can create a private match with a private match code for a custom game in Apex Legends. If you want to play a private match in Apex Legends this guide will help you.

I know, I found it funny how they announced it and everyone got excited then they sneakily snuck in that it had a 30 minimum limit just before the event.

@@jojomart785 you can't go as a duo or anything it has to be 30 tho
They use the apple strategy. Tiny upgrades over long spans of time to keep people playing and paying more.
@@jojomart785 cant they just make it offline tho. if you can play in shooting range solo I dont see why it cant be the same for an actual map where other players are invisible but can see their holospray. it would make it so they are all in the same 1 loaded map
If anyone's wondering, with arenas removed, they removed custom arenas too. What a joke.

Is it okay to stream private match on Twitch stream with no prize money on the line? Do I need a permission from Apex to do it?
I was looking through internet but sadly couldn't find a reliable resource....
Even if there’s a cash prize you can still stream the tournaments on Twitch

Yeah I know, super disappointing. I was literally playing with 4 friends in COD custom games the other day, shame Apex won't allow that. I'm hoping they'll lower it in the future.
@@thethak depends cos I doubt apex servers could handle it game would be in the mud need to get them fixed as they needed to for the past 4 years

They removed arenas rom the game unfortunately

I guessing due to the server load of allowing that. I wonder if they'll find a way to do it in the future though.

@@ujjwalbhatt5496 Yeah that could be a solution, a lot of games like COD and Halo used to do that a while ago. Apex isn't really set up for it at the moment though so I imagine it would take some dev.
Honestly it’s cool that it has customs but I hate the fact that we need the certain amount of ppl to play BR and 6 for arena I hope they can change that in the future where you can have it as a free for all for BR or play arena 1v1 or 2v2
That’s nuts I thought you could go against a good mate or something you need 30 players I don’t even have two mates on apex well this sucks
I just want to create custom match, invite 59 bots with a customizable AI to play along with. Maybe someday.
I can't believe they don't understand the need to be able to incorporate bots to complete custom games, or even to practice. I hate when games are anti-bots. But I assume it's their players' fault too, people cry a lot about that. There is no way out, only pain.

Yeah it's a RIP. I'm not sure if we can get that many for Saturdays stream but lets see, hopefully at the very least we can do some custom Arenas.

will i be able to add some friends on the custom lobby ? cause looking up friends with their IGN somehow doesnt work anymore or its another bug
They'll need to enter the code of your lobby, you can't pull people in.
Is the 30 player minimum still in place? I see people on youtube doing 1v1's 2v2's and 3v3's ALL THE TIME... Why can't I 1v1 my little brother so he can learn the game better? Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Unfortunately, at the moment you can't, until they lower the minimum required players to start a game

@@trah8869 R5 Reloaded is different to the main game. Plus that's PC only. Not the same as the official game.
At this point just “allegedly” download R5 🤦🏽♂️😅

How do you rename the teams
It's glitched. When you click enable team name changes it should allow people to change their team names but it doesn't work.

20 Teams unfortunately so you can't do solos if that's what you were thinking. Not sure why they made it like that.

No, 3 v 3 is the minimum un fortunately. They might change that later.

Fortnite is the only game that allows private matches with even only 2 players
