Release Torment V and buff all classes! Other classes probably have strong builds but no one is theory crafting them, people are only playing Spiritborn this season.
They SERIOUSLY need to add a rawhide and iron chunk cache. The material shortage this season is the most frustrating issue I've experienced since launch😢
I think not instantly having infinite resources, makes for more meaningful gameplay. You actually have to consider what you want to masterwork, and what you want to reroll.
Why add more rawhide and iron chunk when they can just change the requirements mats to something else for masterworking. They’ve done it before, they can do it again.
Just for anyone that asking about the Resource for Banished Lord amulet, you only need to have 240 Max Resource for the Banished Lord to trigger on every attack. The reason is because the Weapon Kepe is kinda bugged. The 35 Resource Cost for Quill counts toward the Resource needed for the Banished Lord amulet, so if you have 240 Resource + 35 = 275. You can test this out for yourself with 240+ resource
I noticed at less than 275 I keep spamming the screen with orange as well, so I figured I was just *spending* 275 fast enough, even though not all would be overpowers (I have normal hits off).

I hope Blizzard will make a statement on these bugged multipliers soon. I want to know if it's worth going for this build or if both barriers and block chance are getting omeganerfed mid-season.
At least for me, as much as I want to try other builds. I want to farm out hard AF with this build before they patch it out. Ain't no way pit 150 is intended when no other build has barely cracked 110. No shot.

Im happy sticking to the overpower build at this point lol, As long as im strong enough to solo any torment 4 boss on a chr thats the end game for me, i dont really care for pit pushing.
At 11:30 you can see that he’s hitting for 20-30 trillion very quickly and the boss’s health is not even moving. If these huge damage numbers are unintended, why the fuck does the boss have 100 quadrillion HP? It’s so stupid. If you’re going to make boss health pools that massive then EVERYONE should be critting for 60 trillion. Really makes you wonder why they nerfed Lightning Spear and Dance of Knives prior to release. Even pre-nerf those builds wouldn’t touch Quill Volley.
you make such a good point, it literally makes zero sense why they made pit bosses with that much health if youre not even supposed to be hitting for trillions of damage. it would literally take 15 minutes if we couldnt hut for that much
The intention is for players to not clear this high of a pit tier; they're more of a pipe dream pits. They didn't expect for players to find builds causing 100T damage.
You can stack another barrier. You do even more dps and damage. It’s called crushing hand. You can run double core/basic with quill volley and crushing hand. 1-1alternate. Now 4 barriers.
Hey Rob, isnt better to play with Yens Blessing boots insteda of rakanoth? You are going to have every 8 sec random spell (non mobility and non ultimate) which is currently on CDs, so u have another small buff and u can replace resource generetaion on your ring and replace it with other tempering option. I am playing this setup and its very fine and cool :)
What would you recommend for someone as a fresh 60? The resolve version would require 270 resources without tibaults which is hard. Play normal volley and transition to tibaults OP then eventually resolve?
tbh I'd go evade eagle to start as a fresh 60 spiritborn, it speedclears incredibly fast and only requires a sepazontic to get started, you can scale it to clear roughly pit 100 pretty easily by armor stacking. If you want to push higher transitioning into this build after that one is the way to go and at that point you can farm the gear you need for this much more easily

@@Tport712 Yes and no. Every class should be fun, but the damage scaling is dumb. D4 was not supposed to be D3. A few million damage is enough and the game should be balanced around that.

To me it's obvious that their goal was that anyone without a clue about what they're doing with the spiritborn had to be stronger than the best minmaxed build of other classes.
Guys can i just point out that when even 'German Beavis', the man you who coined the term 'barbillions', is saying that the damage might be 'a bit much', that might be a sign that all of the other classes need a serious rework. Seriously though, while I agree that bugs should be patched, SB should be left alone and all of the other classes should be redesigned to be as good as SB. In fact, that could be the theme for an entire season.

Hey Rob - your guide says the defensive spiritborn temper should give 2-3 resolve, but in game mine only gives 1-2 with the Legendary Orange recipe. Is there something wrong?

Wonder if there is 2 block chance buckets , 1 from gear and 1 from aspects like attack speed or just bugged. Spirit born is beyond op this season but next season it will suck like all the other classes after they nerf it into the ground. Enjoy while u can and thanks Rob.
You can play with Spiritborn and do lots of stuff which I like a lot but the other classes are way behind it. In my clan barbs and rogues are asking for help in T4 Duriel and I kill him in 3 seconds. The gap is too big. Either bring the other classes to Spiritborn level or nerf some passives/items for Spiritborn.
9:22 you don't need the points in Armored Hide because that's passive resolve. By activating AH you already gain max resolve. Just put 1 point in AH and another in Enhanced AH. That frees up a few skill points
its because of duration. at lvl 5 (wth +2 lvl from Prodigy's Tempo) it lasts 4.2 sec. just a bit of time to proc it CD and have perma 100% block chance
There's currently a bug/exploit you can do in Infernal Hoards to get massive amounts of obducite. You clear all the waves while trying to pick up as little of the currency on the floor as possible, then after you defeat the council you open the material chest, then go back and pick up 1 single currency and reopen the material chest again, and repeat. It's tedious but worth it. It will likely get hotfixed soon.

Looks like they already nerfed resolve stacks. Legendary tempering manual is now down to 1-2 resolve stacks, instead of 2-3. And yes, I tested this on ancestral items
Kudos for not using the oducite exploit. Also, Blizzard not capping the block % or resolve stacks is funny considering they love capping everything else.

How important is to have the glyps to level 100 ? Mine are 80 and with shako,3ga T will, 2 ga kepeleka i am not even close to these numbers. Also amulet with 2 GA on core skills and OP. Resources are 320...
What D4 did well this season is alllowing us to completely break the game. For me this is the main objective in H&S to get my build break the game. Problem is they made it possible to only one class
That's the story of every season. Next season it will be a different class, a different game-breaking build. At this point you have to think it's intentional.
It seems you need 240 for this setup. Something like 240 + 35 basic cost from quill volley are activating Banished. I watched a guy explaining it. Lots of calculations but it works.
He keeps saying block chance turns into damage, but I missed why that is the case. Can someone timestamp where he shows the aspect/legendary that makes this happen?
the best part about spiritborn builds is that they dont cause any lag whatsoever so blizzard cannot nerf it legally :D if they hold their word true that they will not be nerfing classes mid season we can play this busted class till the end of the season without nerf worries
What’s crazy is that the gorilla spirit hall is soo weaker the. The rest bc it solely depends on thorns and barrier but I’m sure after blizzard sees this they will nerf resolve to the ground ultimately making the gorilla class unusable
Other classes definitely needs buffs now. They deserve to be pushing similar damage. My non-Spiritborn friends are getting salty already with this season and saying they do not like the season. Lol. Blizzard, bring back the fun to the other classes.
Its just absurd how insane the ceilings of spiritborne are, if there are even some... every other char got completely hard capped with their mechanics, meanwhile spiritborne got none atm... early after the expension release i already noticed how broken the class is and i just thought myself, this is kind of as advertisement to incentivice others to buy the expension. but now i cant even think of this anymore, this class is beyond broken... they told us, they've squished the numbers, as they were getting absurd with the billion hits and now, after the squish, the new class hits for trillions and not just once in a while
If you want to support someone making these builds, then support the original creators and theory crafters such as aceofspades (goblininc) or the Chinese player that made this build. Rob just takes someone else's build and makes videos, swapping a passive around or a paragon point is not making your own build haha. Ace is by far the best theory crafter who streams so if you value that kind of stuff go support him! Also, cleared 142 with TOD (my gear is better than robs though in every slot almost inc MW and 148 cleared with Quill (paragon 279) but it doesn't matter what you use it's all about resolve anyway) so a few variations (still all variations use resolve stacking whether it's a bug or not) to try, once again credit to Aceofspades! Resolve stacking is really hard and taxing I know, and Diablo is such a skill-based game..... but do try and not follow someone who uses somebody's else's theory craft and builds and then proceeds to think his top tier gaming hahaha. I guess casuals love it though, Robs a good guy he knows he didn't make these builds ECT and credits Ace a lot (respect) but the sheep do not, probably fans of that clown ragegaming.

Definitely focus on it, nothing is stopping you from blasting through the content and preparing everything you will need in case it's nerfed and you need to re-evaluate your build.
i really hope blizz makes something different to make higher pits harder instead of slapping on trillions of hp every tier that even bugs out the game.

They don't expect players to get past pit tier 100. It's literally there for broken builds that they will patch somehow in the next season.

To me it's obvious that their goal was that anyone without a clue about what they're doing with the spiritborn had to be stronger than the best minmaxed build of other classes.
Guys can i just point out that when even 'German Beavis', the man you who coined the term 'barbillions', is saying that the damage might be 'a bit much', that might be a sign that all of the other classes need a serious rework.
Seriously though, while I agree that bugs should be patched, SB should be left alone and all of the other classes should be redesigned to be as good as SB. In fact, that could be the theme for an entire season.
Its one thing to make a class so good that everyone wants to play it but its another thing to make that class so digustingly op that it can push 50 tiers higher than any other class. Progression curve and general gameplay for this season is a A+ and class balance is a F

Hey Rob - your guide says the defensive spiritborn temper should give 2-3 resolve, but in game mine only gives 1-2 with the Legendary Orange recipe. Is there something wrong?
you're probably looking at resolve generation, and not max resolve stacks

You can play with Spiritborn and do lots of stuff which I like a lot but the other classes are way behind it. In my clan barbs and rogues are asking for help in T4 Duriel and I kill him in 3 seconds. The gap is too big. Either bring the other classes to Spiritborn level or nerf some passives/items for Spiritborn.

9:22 you don't need the points in Armored Hide because that's passive resolve. By activating AH you already gain max resolve. Just put 1 point in AH and another in Enhanced AH. That frees up a few skill points
its because of duration. at lvl 5 (wth +2 lvl from Prodigy's Tempo) it lasts 4.2 sec. just a bit of time to proc it CD and have perma 100% block chance

There's currently a bug/exploit you can do in Infernal Hoards to get massive amounts of obducite. You clear all the waves while trying to pick up as little of the currency on the floor as possible, then after you defeat the council you open the material chest, then go back and pick up 1 single currency and reopen the material chest again, and repeat. It's tedious but worth it. It will likely get hotfixed soon.
how much did you get after 1 run? doing it normal I can get between 600-1000 obducite.

think you should point out the biggest hits were under channeling pylon which somehow multiplies the dmg to gigantic numbers

Looks like they already nerfed resolve stacks. Legendary tempering manual is now down to 1-2 resolve stacks, instead of 2-3. And yes, I tested this on ancestral items

How important is to have the glyps to level 100 ? Mine are 80 and with shako,3ga T will, 2 ga kepeleka i am not even close to these numbers. Also amulet with 2 GA on core skills and OP. Resources are 320...

It seems you need 240 for this setup. Something like 240 + 35 basic cost from quill volley are activating Banished. I watched a guy explaining it. Lots of calculations but it works.

Its just absurd how insane the ceilings of spiritborne are, if there are even some... every other char got completely hard capped with their mechanics, meanwhile spiritborne got none atm... early after the expension release i already noticed how broken the class is and i just thought myself, this is kind of as advertisement to incentivice others to buy the expension. but now i cant even think of this anymore, this class is beyond broken... they told us, they've squished the numbers, as they were getting absurd with the billion hits and now, after the squish, the new class hits for trillions and not just once in a while
If you want to support someone making these builds, then support the original creators and theory crafters such as aceofspades (goblininc) or the Chinese player that made this build. Rob just takes someone else's build and makes videos, swapping a passive around or a paragon point is not making your own build haha. Ace is by far the best theory crafter who streams so if you value that kind of stuff go support him! Also, cleared 142 with TOD (my gear is better than robs though in every slot almost inc MW and 148 cleared with Quill (paragon 279) but it doesn't matter what you use it's all about resolve anyway) so a few variations (still all variations use resolve stacking whether it's a bug or not) to try, once again credit to Aceofspades! Resolve stacking is really hard and taxing I know, and Diablo is such a skill-based game..... but do try and not follow someone who uses somebody's else's theory craft and builds and then proceeds to think his top tier gaming hahaha. I guess casuals love it though, Robs a good guy he knows he didn't make these builds ECT and credits Ace a lot (respect) but the sheep do not, probably fans of that clown ragegaming.

Definitely focus on it, nothing is stopping you from blasting through the content and preparing everything you will need in case it's nerfed and you need to re-evaluate your build.
i really hope blizz makes something different to make higher pits harder instead of slapping on trillions of hp every tier that even bugs out the game.
