This was definitely the best Course Record video yet... Shoutout to Riverside Golf Club for letting play their course!
Here's a challenge, The Deltona Club. It's on the east end of the I-4 corridor and it built into an old sand quarry. The elevation changes are substantial for (east coast) Florida, fairways are wide, water is nonexistent and the greens are fast.
The place is a blast to play, check it out!

@mufaro984 holes 11, 12, and 13 at Augusta National GC are known as Amen Corner. Bryson was three over par on those three holes of the final round of this year’s Masters tournament. It’s where he lost the lead.

I've played this course at least 20 times. Me and my usual group have been talking quite often about how fun it'd be to see Tour Pro play the usual courses. This is so far one of the best ones of the series. Thank you for doing this! Seein that you miss into the same spots as all of us, is a testament to how much it means to know the course you play. Do Sky Creek Ranch, allegedly 6 most difficult starting holes in the DFW area.

@ryank843 Pro vs. Sunday hacker... As he stated a few times the expectations are that pro will always succeed and hit only good hits. For example, the 3rd hole tee shot is long but ends up in exactly the same spot as where my usual group long-hitters miss. 4th hole is an even better example, most people who have played that hole a few times remember that there's a lot of space on the right side of the bunker where BD ended up. Even "Sunday hacker" would end up there in a good spot, then the second shot is where 99% of people hit when they try to avoid the left side bunker. Luckily it didn't roll into the water behind, even more impressively chip in birdie from there. I'm sure Mr. BD would break the record with the second attempt by just remembering two or three tee boxes better (6th for example) -- I hope this clarifies what I meant. I enjoyed a lot of this episode, a course that I know quite well and I know where I aim, and where I miss. I felt very connected, except that I'd play one or two tee boxes shorter.

As a 3yr golf amateur I played this course frequently last year and my best score was 89. Always wondered how a pro would do based on the complexity of this course. @brysondechambeau makes me feel a bit better knowing it was a challenge even for a pro like you. it is interesting seeing different pros play munis, and struggle a tad with the conditions of some crappy unkept terrain and terrible bunker sand. They are the best in the world, but it makes me wonder what us AM's would shoot with people tracking balls and flagging them, where we just lose them and a stroke in some rough because we try to keep pace of play with no spotters. Also playing on rough courses where sometimes fairways are like hardpan dirt. I typically score better on a more expensive, well kept, more difficult course, than and easier slope rating unkept muni. Regardless, I would never compete with these guys in any lifetime lol.

Imagine having an insane course record at a public course somewhere for years then Bryson Dechambeau randomly shows up one day and beat it like I would be pissed and happy at the same time. Like of course I’ll be pissed my record got broke but if Bryson broke it I could then say it took a major champion to beat my record. That’s what I call a win, win situation 🤟

This is the best golf series on youtube. I love Rick Shiels and what he does. Pete Finch, the Byran bros and Grant they are all good and all do good stuff.
But a PGA tour player on top of his game switching from being in contention at the masters one week to switching it up the next, trying to break course records on the courses we are accustomed to playing every week.
