If I'd never seen an Octopus and was told it was an example of life from another planet, it is exactly what I would've imagined it to be. All Sealife is amazing but the Octopus is probably my favourite. Thanks for the video Blue World.
I've been on this channel since season 2 and I just wanna say, thank you Johnathan for all your help to advance my life. I'm now a junior SCUBA diver and is gonna have people care about the ocean all thanks to you, I even met Guy Harvey at Busch gardens williamsburg!
Nice video Jonathan!! This video reminds me of a documentary I watched on Netflix called, My Octopus Teacher. Have you seen that film before? It’s quite interesting to watch.
I’m Portuguese American. I can’t wait to make my first trip to Portugal. However I plan to start in the Azores. In the city of Ponta Delgada. My Grandparents grew up there. I wonder what the ocean is like if you and your family would like to dive there as well.
Nice story adventures ! Thanks for sharing :) If you wanna come to the Azores, we also have very nice diving spot there and not only one, but nine islands to discover ! ;)
10:15 Usually it takes a while for an octopus to adjust to a human it usually takes a moment or two for an octopus to recognize a human as a friend or a foe but it depends on which species of octopus that could fund you friendly to be around or not and maybe this one must be young
Great video as always, hope you enjoyed the trip. However I disagree with the context of trying to touch wildlife, the video makes it seem as if its a normal good thing to do when in fact we should never touch anything underwater (and you could say in nature in general).
Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the equipment they use? I'm very interested in knowing what diving equipment and camera equipment they use to make the show.
I went on my first four dives a few days ago because I watched you, it's really fun! By the way, did you know that Jesus Christ died for you and me and rose up again because He loves you and me so much! Accept Him as Lord and Savior, believe, and repent of your sins that you may be saved and have a relationship with our Savior!
Absolutely true. In fact, with most species of Parrotfish, it's the MALE that is brightly colored presumably to attract a mate. We can probably assume that with the Ferrari Parrotfish, the female attracts the mate.
4:50 the lighter brown layers are likely tuff layers (volcanic ash) and the darker layers are mafic lava on the left side there is a more massive dark layer which was probably created by a larger eruption (but it could also be a small cooled down magma reservoir which never got to erupt) i would need a close up view to decide on that
hey jonathon, long time watcher and love the videos, if you ever come to australia there is a place called piccaninnie ponds, they are bascially the equivalent of senote's in australia, well worth a visit though the pond weeds are quite tangly so be warned, but on a sunny day they are just gorgeous!
Hello, what you are doing is very great, but unfortunately we cannot understand everything because of the language barrier between us. I hope to activate the Arabic translation with the rest of the languages so that the benefit reaches everyone. It is unfortunate that this huge work is not understood.

Thanks for watching!
It is from another planet, left behind by a visitor

This is one of the coolest locations you've ever been to. The diving looks great!
The water is super clear. We have another episode coming about the friendly groupers.

That cute little octopus is adorable!! It's on my bucket list to go diving (for the first time) and pet an octopus! I love them so much!
What a beautiful location, clear waters and kidnapping octopus 😁
I made in this year my basic open water diver and your videos show me so many places I wanna go too, thank you guys
Every time I go someplace new and check something off my "bucket list" I find another three places I want to go, so the list gets longer, not shorter!

Awesome!
That was so cool. I thought it might bite. It seemed so dainty the way it felt around. Thanks guys, that was fun...
The octopus was low key trying to eat Liam... one finger at a time!
The octopus wanted to take Liam down to his cellar to try some of his Madeira 🍷
Come to Brazil!
For 3:09 till 3:24 i swear I saw 2 sigma face memes very nice 😂😂
Hi Jonathan have loved your chanel over many years, I'm 3xl, it's a popular size for your next tee shirt run 😉

Wow it's so cool that they became friends
Good stuff Sir!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Octopuses are one of my favourite marine creatures
Waiting ended 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ah the beautiful blue waters of 🇵🇹!
Love the interaction with the Octopus - nice patience with the little guy, Liam! The Parrot Fish was beautiful too. Really enjoy the longer videos! 🤙
We have officially renamed them the Ferrari Parrotfish! I expect that in a few years, everyone in Madeira will call them that.
@@BlueWorldTV im back
@@BlueWorldTV How’d you do that PS I love your vids
Wiggle fingers work on so many animals. lol
There is corals in madeira
well... It''s home for me :) (also a diver) ;)
Basket weave ankle taping
Could you ever have an upcoming episode with Elise but without Liam? Just like you have had an episode with Liam and without Elise.
It could happen....but they are both in the next one.
Must be nice to be able to travel around the world just scuba diving, are you a master diver or something?
No, I'm an underwater cinematographer.
now i finaly can say PENTAPUSS)))))))))))))))))))i was walking around that name - but what i came out was - palmtopus or fingertopus LOL
Those are all excellent options! 🤣
He want to be part of the team
I can't tell who is who most of the time, except you Johnathan with having double air hose.
That is one of the reasons I like it. :-)
Nice story adventures !
Thanks for sharing :)
If you wanna come to the Azores, we also have very nice diving spot there and not only one, but nine islands to discover ! ;)
We are heading to the Azores next July.
@@BlueWorldTV Great!
Feel free to take contact 😁
I am a scientist and diver there, we could explore together some interesting spots 😉
Wonderful diving, outstanding 🤩
I invite you to dive in Morocco, it's will be a honor for me to be your guide 😁🙏
Oooh that sounds exciting!
Where's Elise, was she not on the scuba dive adventure?
Elise was not feeling well the day we did this dive, so she stayed at the hotel to rest. Don't worry, she is back next episode!!
Make another episode on the great white shark

Hey Jonathan I do have a question about the t-shirt that u guys are selling. Is it also shipped internationally?
Yes.
@@BlueWorldTV good to know
Great video as always, hope you enjoyed the trip. However I disagree with the context of trying to touch wildlife, the video makes it seem as if its a normal good thing to do when in fact we should never touch anything underwater (and you could say in nature in general).
Good point, but who touched who? There is a huge difference between waiting for an octopus to touch you, versus trying to touch the octopus.
Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the equipment they use? I'm very interested in knowing what diving equipment and camera equipment they use to make the show.
We should do an extra about that.
Hello johnason, Can the T-shirt ship to China ,besides , the size on the website is not specific enough ,so I can't decide which one to choose
Jonathan, just curious where Elise is?
She skipped this dive because she was not feeling well that day.
Jonathan are you biggest fan my name is Jonathan we the same one name right Jonathan
so do other fish hallucinate if they eat the porgy? can fish hallucinate?!
That is a very good question!! Not sure!
Madeira, the place where Ronaldo himself was born. Him and Messi are the 2 goats of the footballing world. 😎
Hi Jonathan! I tried to buy a T shirt but you don't ship to Chile...:_( Is any tiny possibility to make an exception?...please....
We definitely ship to Chile!!

8:05 only Female Parrot fish are Brightly colored??? OMG that the opposite of most birds and certain fish where the males are brightly colored
Absolutely true. In fact, with most species of Parrotfish, it's the MALE that is brightly colored presumably to attract a mate. We can probably assume that with the Ferrari Parrotfish, the female attracts the mate.
13 minutes to see an octopus...
You can always skip to the end of you don't want to watch the whole story.
4:50 the lighter brown layers are likely tuff layers (volcanic ash) and the darker layers are mafic lava
