  • This is one of a series of videos covering the full dismantling, restoration and rebuild of a Norton Commando engine and gearbox. This particular video shows the con rods being removed from the crankshaft before the big end journals are inspected for wear. Oil flow around the engine is then discussed along with the removal of the inner races of the main bearings. The crankshaft is then ready to be sent to the engineer's for any necessary honing or regrinding of the journals.
