Sky Brown represented Great Britain (UK) in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics receiving a Bronze medal; she was truly skating for the world. Sky hopes to continue making history while inspiring young girls and women across the world to reach for their dreams and become unstoppable. Sky also got a Gold Medal or first place in the 2021 X Games event.
Sky and Ocean post weekly vlogs on their RUclips channel, following their lives as skaters and surfers. When they’re not skating at the the skatepark or ripping waves in the ocean, they are using their platform to empower kids around the world through education and sports. Sky is an ambassador for Skateistan, Laureus, and has worked with many local organizations as well.
Sky won Dancing with the Stars Juniors, and has appeared with her brother on Little Big Shots, The Drew Barrymore Show, Kelly Clarkson show, Good Morning America GMA, Today Show, amongst many other press outlets. Sky has placed top 3 in global skateboarding and surfing contests including Dew Tour, Stab High, STU, ISO World Championships, amongst many others.

I first learned of her before the last Olympics when I saw clips of the horrifying accident she had which broke her limbs, put her in a hospital bed and nearly killed her - and then only a very short time later, she was doing a mega-drop with Tony Hawks! I watched her Olympic runs live (although I missed her GOLD MEDAL at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!) and I'm stoked to see how she does in the next Olympics.
One of the key things about Sky is that she could have represented Japan, the US, *or* the UK - and they all courted her - but she *chose* to represent the UK even though she lives in California and Hawaii because she felt she would enjoy being in the UK team most!

Go Sky! Let’s not forget though… the majority of her life and her surf/skate/snowboarding training has been in the USA. I notice a lot of British and Japanese media outlets tend to skip over that part.
