On the 3rd of July this year, I went to Little River to film V/Line and freight trains there, I only got V/Line, and there was no freight. I'm thinking now, if I want to film freight, I really should go to Middle Footscray first
@@VictorianRails2025 oh okay and yes, it is an amazing place for recording for freight trains. i the locos i got were CM3305 GL105. NR91 NR60. CSR001 Light Hauled NR69 Light hauled so it was pretty entertaining watching the freight train and also doing the train signal to get the driver to blow the horn.
Nice video.
They were both good days for train-spotting
Thanks, they definitely were! Got some good freight trains I didn't expect half the time.
Thanks for your comment.

Middle Footscray is good on Thursdays, I recommend staying there for 4-5 hours with food of course if you're looking to film some freight.
@@VictorianRails2025 I guess no wonder you we're live streaming on Thursday this week!
Excellent video great captures
Thankyou, tried some new shots this time like Newport and West Footscray as seen in the video.
Thanks for your comment.
Nice video Jamie. Wish we had the VLocitys in here
Thanks! Yeah, I did do a video on trainspotting at Middle Footscray. If you search it up I'm sure you'll find it.
Thanks for your comment.
3:41 Josh spotted
I'm a bit unlucky with freight trains, I barley ever catch them.
We've all been there, just gotta learn the correct days to go and be with someone who can track the trains via an app.
Thanks for your comment.
@@VictorianRails2025 what app is it
@user-vr5tk9ec6y The app is named Trainfinder and is only available via an admin letting you in.
Nice video I went train spotting at middle footscray not that long ago. Alos how do you know what number route it is.
Thanks, Middle Footscray is a good station for trainspotting. I get the run numbers or 'TDs' from a friend.

Please explain the sign: "train stop fitted".
The train has a fitted stop at the marker.
@@VictorianRails2025 What is a "fitted stop" - I've never heard he term before.
