I think many people cherry pick situations. (I did this a lot in english class lol), when it came to that fire hydrant right afterwards it said she let her guard down to save the people falling out of the building. That other scan, she was in magic repellant amour, and she said it’s no time to be gentle. She definitely dodged that helicopter. Also with monster, I’m surprised she didn’t dodge that either.
Here's what I think Marvel's said it in their universe that thought is faster than light, and unless in the future they contradict themselves by wording, thought is canonically faster than light. However, if you calculate the speed of Thor, he kept up with the speed of silver surfer putting him at about 500,000 lighting years per second. He even flew from one edge of the universe to another which puts him at almost 93 billion light years per second. But this is the same Thor who can be tagged by the likes of Ironman despite being that fast. I think the problem in marvel is inconsistency. They state their facts to be canon yet they don't seem canon later. There was another time Thor overcame infinite gravity meaning he has infinite strength and yet later on he lost an arm wrestling match to a drunk Hercules. The problem is inconsistency.
Travel speed isn't combat speed, but also my point was almost all characters in Marvel have been shown multple times not being able to react to thing moving much slower than the speed of light so even if thought is that fast it can't universally be utlized in an effective ways including when talking about people with instant abilities.

Electricity doesn't run through a metal cable, it hovers on the outside. A bump in the cable creates resistance = signal loss. Even if you had the power of the speed of light, your mind is physically too slow for that level of conceptualization
Then explain how Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman or any faster than light character ever get hit especially by Lex Luthor, The Joker, or Penguin? It’s called telling a story that isn’t real

Every writer has written inconsistent stories especially after almost a hundred years in the game, but taking one statement and pointing out the inconsistency is like saying everything else fits when we know that the inconsistencies make the stories as compelling as the consistency
