The year was 2016 it was my junior year of high school I kept hearing about lacrosse from my friend who used to play he never made it sound cool or enjoyable he was more like “dude come play lacrosse we run till we puke and check out this ginormous bruise I have on my leg someone shot a ball at like 70 mph at my leg” junior year I mustard up the balls to do it. 2016 the mirage dropped I saw UNC take the natty (I stay in SC) I saw the Charlotte hounds play I took part of my first travel lax team that year, I participated in a seminar with Scotty Rodgers,Kyle Harrison, and Tom Schrieber, Truely one hell of a year I’ll never forget. Trying not to get tear eyed as I reminisce all the stupid stuff I did with friends haha
