I actually like the bowl! It isn’t as cool as the pencil vase but still a super interesting piece!
For real right, I mean I know the bubbles and yellowing are " imperfections' but I think that was part of what made it cool!
I sort of like the bowl too. Maybe a tea candle would look good shining thru the cracks in the resin. So used as a candle holder?
I liked the bowl too.
I’m with u on this one definitely unique
I'm with you x
I think the bowl looked good for being a made out a failed peace really made it look cool seeing all the defects
I really enjoy the blue! It looks like chunks of colored pencil lead floating around
I like the bowl too. I love imperfect objects as they have their own character. I'd love to own it. It's darling!
I just love the demented way you create such interesting things. You are extremely creative, highly technically skilled, and too funny for words.
He’s a madman with a lathe 😂
The blue looks like poster tack and goes well with the pencils. Full on classroom vibe
I like both pieces. That funky bowl is unique.
The bowl actually looks really cool
That vase looks like books in a shelf. Would be a great gift for a teacher or librarian, even for a bookworm. Great job on this.
Same!
The blue milliput highlighted the imperfections and it made it look really nice!!
The case reminds me of a book shelf with several colorful tomes. The forbidden mini library.
This! 😁
I thought the same exact thing about it looking like books on a bookshelf
Agreed! Reminiscent of the fantastic libraries in various animated movies. 😁
Just ordered the failed bowl from your site. Can’t wait to get it
Lucky you! I knew someone would like to have it. Congratulations!
You're too quick! I was hoping to grab the bowl myself. Thought it would have been perfect for my RPG dice. Oh well. Gratz.
How much was it?
Just popped on to see if I could buy it. Good on ya!
Haha happy days 🥳🥳🙏🏽
It's really cool how you can take something that didn't go as planned and still make something incredible out of it!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BOWL! I would spend time filling the rest of the holes with resin, a little at a time, and simply adore it for the rest of my life!
It’s way past my best time on a Sunday evening, but I don’t care. It’s Nick Zammeti! 🥰
Same! Goodnight from Washington state! ❤️😴
@@jaggerkate good night from Virginia! ☺️
Amen!!!!
Same. Great video and I actually like the second piece. Good night from Texas.
Same here from Indiana
The short colored pencils reminded me of library stacks for some reason. It’s really pretty with all the colors.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one that saw that. LOL
I thought that too
Ditto.
I was thinking it looked by books to
I actually like the 2nd one also. It has character which makes it unique. Like Bob Ross used to say: "Happy little accidents".
Personally, I really like both of them.
The one you think didn't work out, I love it. I'd use it to hold my fine liners that I use with my color pencils
Nick you're crazy, the bowl is awesome. It has such interesting detail that makes it really stand out. Also the blue millieput makes it look like paint got spattered on it as well. Please finish it.
Hey Nick, love your vids. Definitely using them to learn things to start my own resin/woodworking hobby. Would love to see maybe just a quick blurb in each vid meant solely to teach something to beginners (maybe 30 seconds) like how to sharpen tools or something basic. Or maybe some dedicated how to vids. Again Love your stuff man, keep up the good work.
One of the reasons I always watch your videos for years now, besides your awesome creativity, is you have such a great attitude even when you make a mistake or decide something isn't turning out the way you wanted, you just take it on the chin and keep going, when you said you live, you learn that said it all. Never change Nick
Not everything has to conform to others perceptions of perfect. I love both these projects as they are colourful and the blue milliput enhances that. Pretty cool.
How the viewer sees the piece can be a lot different than how you think it turned out. I think they looked really good. Keep on making awesome videos!
The small bowl might have been a “failure” but I loved the potential. I like the pencil projects but I liked the look of the small pot where the pencils were not packed solid. Ever think about making a pencil project where there were spaces of just clear resin and spaces filled with pencils? I saw the potential for a really cool look in that small pot.
I LOVE the waffle. Keep waffling on!
The vase looks like bookshelves, I love it!
The bowl looks like a little modern art piece
I really like it. I love the milliput color in there.
I like them both. The bowl reminds me of a project your child does at school that might not be 'perfect' but you know they tried their best and you display it with pride! You did a great job upcycling your upcycles!
The artist is always the most critical of his own work
One man's trash is another man's treasure. Stop being so hard on yourself, both pieces look cool and are one of a kind unique works of art.
I'm sitting in Gonzales Louisiana during hurricane Ida. I'm upset because my friends and family are going through hell in new Orleans. But I saw your upload and had to watch. I'm telling you this that someone maybe having the worst day of their lives but you and you amazing videos give them a break. Like it does for me often. Please keep making the world smile. You are a bright spot on the terrible day here.
Thank you Waldo 🙏🏽
Found the channel over this past crazy year and have since watched every video (second channel, too). It was really cool to see the progression of your style over a few years until you landed in this funky groove. You bring a ton of positive energy and happy vibes and we have certainly needed more of that as of late. For that I thank you. I look forward to the next one.
The shape of the tall piece reminds me strongly of the cooling towers at my local nuclear power plant!
Love the bookshelf vase (seriously, look at it, it looks like book shelves for a fairy!) and I actually really like the bowl, super interesting with all the mistakes and bubbles and stuff in it. I think it will be one of those pieces that every time you look at it, you're gonna find something new and interesting on it.
I love both peices. I really like the bowl. The vase is really cool.
So I didn't work today due to the last bands of hurricane Ida coming through and I had time on my hands. Naturally, I turn to RUclips and I was greeted with a fresh Nick Zammeti vid. Too awesome. Happy days as it were!
First one's a great looking piece, Nick. Milliput needs to make a tan or beige version for wood projects.
I'm so happy you didn't leave them like that. Thank you for scratching the itch in my brain!
Edited to say, It's beautiful! And it looks kind of Egyptian...And what's wrong with the bowl? Finish it off please.
I thought the same thing.. first the are looked like a library wall then it had an Egyptian feeling
Nick- I love the first one, it has a pseudo Egyptian feel to it. The second one, well love bonody's nerfect. Keep doing what you do.
I think the milliput looks great. It makes the pieces look even more interesting and colorful. I like this upcycling project a lot! By the way, you've got a little something on your nose, Nick. Yeah, right there. 😁😁
Well I've never seen the words "uploaded 10 seconds ago on RUclips" before, so that's interesting. Anyways, pumped to watch the part 2!
I think they are both unique just like you.
I don't have as much time for RUclips lately as I used to, so I don't always catch your videos... But your videos and your positive energy helped get me through a really dark and difficult time in my life. I will forever be grateful! And I will always try and catch your videos when I can! ❤️
Love part two! It looks like bits Of embedded turquoise.
Nice to see part 2 nick! Love the vase and I’d have your so called fails any day (love the bowl)
I've been soooo excited to see you use some Milliput again and NOW with a new color?? 😆😃 ah! I'm so obsessed with this project! I think it looks awesome! I love it. 10/10. 👌🏼💙
It looks so cool, it looks like a miniature library. The pencils look like tiny books . Love it
It’s good to see the failures and how you deal with them. Lets us know it’s not the end of the world when we mess up our own project. Still love the channel!
They are both amazing!! If you're worried about the milliput, make a thin groove, & a couple more groves various widths, fill them with the blue to tie it all together... But both pieces are beautiful & stand on their own the way they are!! Thank you for sharing...
Hello mate,
I like every additions you put to your work as I go with an old Japanese attitude towards Kintsugi
Kintsugi, also Kintsukuroi, is the process of mending the areas of breakage with lacquer that is dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.
It goes with the philosophy that the breakage and repair are part of object’s history, which they deemed more valuable than hiding the damage
It is nice to see people who do this all the time have problems with some of their projects, like the rest of us. Great job. Keep them coming.
Dude, you just totally made my birthday, for real, you are THE most funkadelic Smurf I've ever seen, l9ve the project usually do, but the blue face made me laugh sooo hard, Nick you're awesome dude, keep building, and inspiring you funky brother😁✌
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳🥳🥳
I love smurf 💙💙
Happy birthday Tood
@@nickzammeti thanx man😁
@@brittabrandtoft110 thank you very much😁
I know im not the only person who really likes the bowl we got to love a little imperfections it's what makes it different x
The bowl was unique. Has some good parts to it. The vase was very cool! Thanks Nick!
I like that bowl. The imperfections give it a special charm to it. The vase is cool as well.
G’day mate, you are so so silly… and I love it. I love how you can mix silliness with cool art works, not to forget that you also keep it safe. Stay safe and stay silly.
I LOVE the blue.
Nick, the second piece would make a great desk top pen & pencil holder although I'd use it for holding color pencils. Ironic!
I love when you have to search for the Yorkshire Grit & find it in different locations. It is cute. I love you work. There is never a failure, just unexpected surprises.
Um excelente trabalho parabéns.
It’s not the colour that’s a bit weird (love it), it’s more the shapes of the chip-outs. Wonder if you carved them into long grooves to match the pencil shapes more then filled those with the milliput it would’ve worked better? Love the vase shape.
Nick, have you ever glued up uncooked pasta 🍝? Like dried angel hair, fettuccini, buccateli, elbow macaroni? I'm trying to imagine it set in a colored epoxy. Hmmm 🤔
🤔😳😂 I’ll try it
@@nickzammeti I'll look forward to the video 😃
I love the bowl. There are visuals from it that I think are great. You can see entire pencil shapes and the colors on the bottom. I say keep it.
When you have a square piece, why don't you cut the corners first with a belt saw?. It will be a lot easier to turn an octagonal shape
The idea of art is to provoke thought. The blue milliput definitely provokes thought. I like it, Nick.
Thats the zemmity we love I think both ternd out wow nice and interesting. I think its a good set. Your amazing thanks for this re-re-do... keep up the woffel! Ps loved the smmurf look!
Anyone else love when the MechArena song comes on at weddings?

Que tu cuerpo es pa' darle alegría y cosa buena
Dale a tu cuerpo alegría, MechArena
Hey MechArena!🎶
I think the blue's really nice with the pieces! The wood's really warm so the blue gives a nice temperature contrast. I also think the bowl turned out really nice! The blue's really pretty on it and I think the holes give a little character to it. :)
I dig it. I think it would be cool to make another "log" of pencils, then cut it down into lumber and do a build with that. Like a dovetailed jewelry box made with color pencil lumber. Food for thought.. thanks for your awesome attitude and enthusiasm! Big ups from Upstate New York ❤️💛💚
I love that you recycle your recycle ♻️ ♥ Thats Earth love thanks man
Love the Wafflin"!!!!
That blue makes it look like a southwestern piece.
The little one would make a great pencil case on a desk in a classroom.
I would love that little piece if you want to send it to me.
Respect for showing the making of the piece that didn’t work out. Cheers!
I don't know about anyone else but I love that little bowl I can see it being used as a tea light holder.
As some others have said, I also liked the bowl. I could see it on a dresser or a desk for holding small items. The other piece looked nice as well. The color of the milliput seemed to fit the more I looked at it. Another project done and you made us smile. Thanks. 😁
I love the bowl! It’s super funky. It’s Wabi Sabi and shows that there is beauty in imperfections.
Both projects really turned out pretty okay and it was fun to watch. The one that didn't turn out the way you wanted can be your workshop pencil holder :)
It's never a failure with you, but a work of art. If you don't like they way it turns out someone else will. Keep up the good work and I will see you on your next project 👍
Hey, your work is amazing! I knew you had it in you! Thank you so much for turning any negative critique into inspiration, rather than letting it get you down. This came out over a week ago, and I wish RUclips would get its algorithm right, but I'm glad I saw this now. I hit the bell today, so I won't miss next time.
The vase looks like library shelves! The bowl looks cute .
The vase is great. Don't worry about the blue putty, it looks awesome!!!
I like the quirkiness of the bowl. It reminds me of a haunted first. The bowl is like an abstract/ impressionist version of an underwater swamp forest.
I love the vase and the bowl isn't that bad. It has its own unique beauty.
It keeps it real when some things don't work they way you'd like them.but the vase ..winner!!! Hugs from Canada 🇨🇦
I like both pieces a lot. The bowl looks even cooler after you made it thinner and the light comes through. I would just use a clear fill. I loved both of these items.
The little pencil stubs kind of look like miniature books in a bookshelf or library. And the milliput color looks great so chill 🤪
The milliput looks like paint splashed on it. From a video point I thought that the pencils on the vase looked like little books on a self. Loved Nick da Smurf💖💖💖
I absolutely LOVE the bowl! I would love to purchase it! Art isn’t perfect, find the beauty in the imperfections 💕
I really like the blue milliput in this project! It reminds me of turquoise inlay. I think it goes quite well with the pencils, kind of a unifying element
Did like the color of the Milliput. The first one was really cool! The bowl wasn’t as bad as you think…. Especially to those of us that can’t do it that well!! Take care!
I like the blue. I like the way it made the pencils direction appear more random!
Art is never a failure, it’s just different!
I like the bowl too... I love all the different textures. Would be lovely with a lamp in it or a candle... would be giving lots of interest...
I LOVE the bowl!!! It is perfect in its imperfection!!!! Please finish it!!!!
I actually prefer the bowl. The imperfections make it perfect. I would totally display that in my home.
I like it! What you accomplished from a failure is something unique and functional and super funkadelic ! If every failure in life turned out like this life would be perfect!
The vase is very cool - wasn't sure about the blue Milliput, but it works! The bowl... could be funky with lights!
At first I thought you were gonna make a Genie lamp!! Love the vase though, reminds me of books on a shelf!
I'm halfway through your video and your many references to the coasters are cracking me up!!!!
The vase turned out beautifully! The miliput didn't bother me. The bowl is funky. It was neat to see the whole process.
Have a great day, Nick!
I actually think that "bowl" looks pretty cool, too. Both really nice looking pieces!
I had no idea Nick had his own brand of wood glue, but there it is, with his face proudly displayed on the side of the bottle ! :D
