Excellent, this has given me a load more ballets to go looking for! Got several by just picking the ballet I'd never seen from the list. :-) So much lovely dancing, really can't answer which is my favourite...
I'm very happy to say that I got easily 20/20! I have to admit that I didn't know that two of these were existing as ballets, but I know them as tales/operas. I'm so happy you included Le Papillon! (though, there could be also more tricky examples from Tchaikovsky (; )
@@BalletQuiz There are also indeed strong connections between opera and ballet, especially in Paris. Such like Marie Taglioni in the "nun ballet" in the opera "Robert le diable" by Meyerbeer and Fanny Cerrito in the title part of "La muette de Portici"by Auber. Many of the operas by Daniel Auber had been also turned within the same time in a ballet, such like Marco Spada (which was also here in the quiz (; ), Le dieu et la bayadere and Le Lac des fees (and you see also how they influenced later famous ballets (; )
To attain perfect score is becoming ever more elusive 😅😊, so, five mistakes! My favourite is Anthony Austin's Fisherman Variation, from the Naiad and the Fisherman ballet ❤❤❤. I watched the 'Full' ballet and at @ 0:44 it's great to watch the 3 male dancers, jump and lean in the air, while the beat their legs and they travel ❤❤❤. My other favourite is, Will Gyves 12 years old when he performed the Variation from Awakening of Flora, ballet ❤❤❤. I love all the beautiful ballets of your compilation video, and, thank you again @ Ballet Quiz ❤😊 for sharing.
haha I couldn't believe when I saw that diamonds and gpc were included in less common! I would be able to recognize them just by hearing or seeing them for 1 second. But I think it's because I personally looove them so much. As well as the variation of the winter fairy from Cinderella, especially the music 😂❤
I had to include some easy ones too, that's why there was also one from the sleeping beauty and the pharaoh's daughter. Otherwise it would have been a little too hard 😊 Thank you so much for playing ❤️❤️
19/20 ho sbagliato la 17 perché i costumi mi hanno tratto in inganno. Devo dire in verità che molte le ho indovinate per esclusione. P.S. che balletto è Anastasia? Sembra su musica di Tchaikovsky dalla clip...
12/20...harder than others...mostly just guessed based on costume or set/background.
Indeed that was a hard one. Thank you so much for playing ❤️
Iam.too 18/20

Well done ❤️ 👏

Wow! Well done!! Isn't it lovely when opera and ballet co-exist? I thought about Tchaikovsky, maybe in another video 😊 Thank you for watching ❤️

Thank you so much @candidacarino669 for watching and playing along ❤️ These are some great choices!
You're welcome @ B B. It's fun, to study the combination steps or movements and often, I'd make my own illustrations!
