I was interested in the game but im waiting for more updates. The current "early access" game is barebone. Not only that but reading the steam reviews it seems that there are a lot of problems with it. So for now i have other finished games that i will throw my money at.
It is Smash a Brick Into My Skull Hard! LOL. Easy mode for the 11th time and still get walloped. I'm not pausing enough, not spacing building out enough, not exploring enough, not fortifying enough.... It's endlessly intense for me, and I love it!
This looks really cool. The RTS genre has kinda fallen off the last decade or so and this looks to incorporate some rts elements which is nice. I noticed some serious frame rate/stuttering issues in the video(made sure it wasn't youtube dropping frames) so it looks like further optimization is in order but being in early access, I can allow for that. Will def add to my steam wish/follow list
the key difference seems to be in TAB one zombie breaching defences could wipe out your centre, this looks less brutal. personally I prefer TAB, its a complete game and the zombie mechanic keeps it very edgy, however, I have rage quit more than once after several hours and having a cascade of zombies. AoD once it's complete may challenge TAB, and it looks more approachable/less brutal

I bought it when was cheap, and play other waiting for EA period finish.
I'd like it if they'd focus all their attention on survival and skip campaign mode
