    My sister and I were caregivers for my mom who had dementia. It was not easy but we were so grateful that we were able to care for her. I miss her terribly. You are doing an amazing job with your mom. Praying for you all 🙏🏾

      Absolutely agree. Hugs to you Val❤❤
      My birth mom didn't have dementia but I ended up taking her in for the last few years of her life from cancer. Caregiving is an extremely hard job and then my baby was young It was a lot so shout out to all caregivers in any capacity

      @@soriyazzThanks, yes…it’s an extremely hard job and the closer you are to the person it’s even harder to watch their decline. I’m glad I get a chance to love on her right now but, there are moments where I break down. 🙏🏾

      Yes it does, we don’t even know when it began but, we’re sure of it now and it’s quite a challenge. Thanks so much for your prayers.

    You are such a blessing to your mother. I've been a care giver as well and you truly have to have the heart for it. I'm also a virtual schooling mom. My children do an online platform and have done so since the pandemic. They are in 7th and 8th grade They really like learning at home and we meet up with other home and virtual school families for outings a few times per month.

    It is ok to take a break. Never leave them in a nursing home🙏🏾😔. It can be frustrating, let them be because they have no control over their emotions and actions. Cherish these moments and always ask for help, caregiver or another family member or close friends. 🙏🏾🫂🙌🏽❤🌹🇹🇹

    I have a question. Do you think homeschooling can possibly affect them socially when they venture away from the comforts of home?? I have a family member that's considering homeschooling her 2 and she asked a valid question??

    • @TMCLYFESTYLE
      @TMCLYFESTYLE  9 месяцев назад +1

      I may do a video about that because I’m asked that a lot. I really don’t think it will affect them badly if they have an outlet. When the kids spend time at outside functions like youth groups at church or other community activities and with my kids school they try to have meet ups once a month in different counties throughout Florida and field trips. We definitely try to keep the kids active outside the house. Other homeschool moms I know set up weekly playdates within the homeschool communities so, it’s actually what you make it. The girls have never desired to leave the program even after visiting and testing at local public schools and seeing the children, classrooms and teachers. They enjoyed the visit but, they said they’d rather continue their education the way it is. Again, this will make an excellent video for us to do soon, look out for it. ❤
