So this is the genesis of Project Necromancer? Merely to implement Palpatine's essence transference. This no doubt confirms Snoke's beliefs that he saw the rise and fall of the Empire, yet I still remain steadfast that Palpatine was looking for Exegol before Thrawn joined the Empire.
It was stated in Empire's End that Palpatine had been searching for the source of the dark side in the Unknown Regions, many scouts and probe droids dispatched with major losses. Only by Thrawn's map was Palpatine's search narrowed and eventually finding Exegol, as well establishing Imperial rule throughout the Unknown Regions by constructing shipyards and facilities in the many worlds of said region.
The only reason why Palpatine's clone body was detorating was because it was imperfect by the time of Return of the Jedi and was not ready, hence why Palpatine used the vials of restoration fluid to stop the detoration.
Perhaps the Praetorian Guards that severed the Imperial Remnant and the First Order are a result of the genetic machinations that originated from Tantiss and Exegol afterward, as Snoke himself is the result of Palpatine's pursuit of eternal life.

Now that would be amazing if we did see at some point the experiments on Mount Tantiss and the possible clone bodies inside the secured vaulted area. Would we see Palpatine's clones, Snoke's , cloned deformities.. we are getting close to getting some answers..I hope 🙏🙏 great comment 💯

    • @FMAChet

@eedreviews I believe that they said they would get a full m count specimen, meaning that what they saw are just failed clones of Palpatine, one including Snoke.
Whatever happens by the end of the Bad Batch, I see Palpatine relocating his cloning experimentations to another location before Exegol is found.
Perhaps Ventress returning is a result of said cloning machanations. Look at Jorus C'Baoth in the Legends continuity, a clone of him was made and stationed at Wayland to guard Tantiss.
One thinks of what the Imperial Remanent was planning with Project Necromancer, were they planning on creating a actual clone of Palpatine? Or were the Shadow Council privy to Palpatine's survival?
Either way, Snoke was sending assets of the First Order to Exegol as part of the final phase of Palpatine's continency.

@@FMAChet the great mystery is that Dave Filoni is a terrible writer and Star Wars is pretty much something I don’t even care too much about anymore. I only went on this video to get the gist out of curiosity. The only aspect to understand is that it’s mediocre at best with the biggest creative limitations I’ve ever seen in an otherwise limitless series. Almost like they’re trying hard to NOT make something cool.

I SERIOUSLY LIKE how Hemlock refers Emperor as Emperor. In my headcanon Palpatine and Empire as a whole started to discourage the use of his name as a form of elevating emperor above regular beings, hence he is only referenced by the title in the movies. And as time goes by regular people would also know him as emperor
This headcanon was broken when in rebels and other shows he is refered to as emperor palpatine.
But hemlock is old school. "it serves a higher purpose, Emperors purpose" /Yes, emperor" SO COOL!!!

I think I find Bad Batch is the darkest TV show of all Filoni's Star Wars animated shows because not only it represents Galactic Empire's reign, but it probably shows something sinister, more than just about forsaking the clones and Imperial reign; Hemlock's cruel and sadistic experiment on the clones, as well as Sith and Imperial diabolical project, the Necromancer, so I wonder if both of these are the reason why Bad Batch is darker than Rebels. The dark atmosphere and the lighting remind me of Call of Duty World at War's where it represents the cruel, brutality, and destruction of the Second World War.

    • @cirespeedreviews
      @cirespeedreviews  6 месяцев назад +3

No doubt.. Rebels even though it had dark and sad moments spreaded throughout the series, this seems so much darker, sinister, between Hemlock , Palpatine, and how they just see the clones as tools that can just be discarded. Good observation, and yes, 100% agree.

There should have been a final scene with Palpatine at the end of the series, this is how I see it going.
    {Palpatine after learning if what occurred on Weyland.}
Palpatine: "Doctor Hemlock has failed me, I am....most displeased."
Tarkin: "I warned you of the risks of such a massive expansive project my Lord, the time of Cloning is over, Project Stardust should be our main focus".
Palpatine: "Yes, there is nothing vital to the future of this Empire Moff Tarkin, whatever is needed to complete the project, you will have it".
Tarkin: "I shall spare no expense nor resource your majesty, however I suggest we promote Commander Krennic to Deputy Director of AWR and have him oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, if only to appease his ego and keep him productive".
Palpatine: "Agreed, but never take your eyes off him OR the project, I will not have Stardust turning into the same type of failure as Hemlock's project".
*Tarkin bows low and the transmission ends*
(Palpatine makes another call right after to Arkanis)
Palaptine: "Captain Brendol Hux my young friend, I have a great task for you"
Brendol Hux: "What is your will my Emperor"
Palpatine: "There is a certain project I need you to oversee, one of vital importance to the future of this Empire, it involves cloning".
Brendol Hux: "Forgive me my lord but I was under the impression that the Empire would no longer be using clone soldiers to fill it's trooper ranks, I know I myself have discussed with you my own theories on raising recruits and conscripts from mainly childhood or birth to produce the ideal soldier."
Palpatine: "Your views and theories have merit to my future plans however now is not the time. The project I speak of is of a deeper more "complex" version of cloning. You will understand the full scope all in due time, however your task is merely to guard and oversee the project, the scientist I have entrusted this project to will handle the intricate details, research and experiments".
Hux: "As you command my lord"
Palpatine: "I will reassign you and the project to a secret location deep in the Unknown Regions, I have a "native" of that part of the galaxy who has recently begun helping the Empire to chart out the mysterious realm, this location will be your own base for a time. The project shall remain but I will eventually reassign you back to your duties in Imperial Space."
Hux: "Will I be meeting this lead scientist soon?"
Palpatine; "She awaits you here on Coruscant before you both depart"
Hux: "As you wish my lord, I shall return at once. (Bows)
    *Transmission ends*
    (Palpatine turns to Dr. Scalder)
Palpatine: "This setback will not hinder my designs, Stardust is merely meant to be a symbol, Necromancer is a vital project, the failure at Tantiss was Hemlock's not yours, we shall see if YOU can do better".
Scalder: "I understand my Emperor, I will work diligently to restart and finish the project, rest assured I will NOT make Dr. Hemlock's mistakes"
Palpatine: "You had better not. However, rest assured Brendol Hux will ensure the security and secrecy of the project. I saw potential in him as Junior Officer at the start of the Clone War, he has proven himself time and again and risen in the ranks swiftly these last 5 years.
    Scalder: "As you wish"
Palpatine: "Come doctor, we have much to discuss, and much more when Captain Hux arrives".

I know some fans are not pleased that recent stories such as The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch are connecting the dots between the sequel trilogy and the rest of the franchise. However, I am beyond thrilled that we are getting more stories that connects the history and lore of the franchise. Even before Disney bought Star Wars, I learned that the more plot holes a Star Wars movie has, the more opportunities we get to receive new Star Wars content.
