i just got the brand new, im very new to keytar, can ypu please help to set it up? I have installed all the softwares and drivers needed, but keytar doesnt start..
In US Dollars, around 350. If you can find one used, that's the best option honestly, and the only reason I didn't is because shipping to here is expensive and I couldn't find a used model locally
I may be... uh... slightly late... for this reply. Been a rough time. But yeah, this thing is freaking awesome, but it's absolutely not for everyone at all. The build quality is great, and most of what I said before still applies. There isn't really anything wrong with it, and if you take the time to fiddle with the settings so you can swap between different patches, it's amazing! But at the end of the day, it's really just a big MIDI controller? You could get a regular MIDI controller that does most of this stuff (except the super cool motion control thingy this has) and it would cost less. But this is both SUPER RAD and still a super solid MIDI controller, and would be so good if I was playing a lot of live shows. I think this is great if you play live a lot and wanna be up front moving around, or if you're the kind of person that sees this and are like "yeah, that looks rad, I'm gonna take that." I'm not good enough at keys to make the most use out of it, but I have had lots of fun screwing around with it, and it's far more expressive than my previous controller, so it's a massive upgrade. And it's coolness factor looks AWESOME in videos, but I'd say it's just BARELY worth it. A real cool MIDI controller. Now, if you're SPECIFICALLY looking for a Keytar, than I can recommend this WAY easier because it's super good and doesn't cost the price of a small vehicle (looking at the freaking Roland Ax Edge....). At the price of what you'd normally pay for a guitar anyway, this thing is RAD
Very good review by a very good natured, talented guy.
