Thank you for your video. Regarding 5:10, to open a zipper bag, use your torso to push the bag against a table and use your hand to unzip the bag. Regarding 6:58, to twist open a bottle cap or a jar lid, get a pad made out of Dycem. Dycem is a special rubbery sheet material which provides a strong grippy nonslip surface. Place the bottle, jar or can on top of the Dycem pad on the table. As you press down on an object on top of a Dycem pad, it will not slip around. Then you can untwist the bottle cap or jar lid. You can also use a can opener to open a can while it sits steady on top of a Dycem pad. Another useful tool is the Swedish Cutting Board, because it has an adjustable vise which can clamp onto to objects such as a bottle, jar, can or a small box. The Swedish Cutting Board has suction cup feet on its bottom to hold it steady on a table top.
I had a stroke when I was 6 months old mine aeffected my right side of my body I love how you are showing people and explaining on how we do things in everyday life I really love this video:)
Thank you for your comment and watching my videos, I had a stroke when nearly 3 years old, glad youenjoy the videos. Please let me know if you have any other ideas for videos or anything else you would like to know.
I had a stroke when I was 5... I have right sided hemiplegia and this is how I open things. My arm and hand isn't as stiff as yours and sometimes when I'm feeling weak I use my teeth to get into things. This is such a good video and you are much braver than me when I was your age :-)
I like your glass with lid. I used my teeth to open a zip lock bag Crack my tooth bad.. It looks ugly 😞 Your quite nimble with your hand.. I’m unable to do things as good as you… Darn.. Your Amazing ❤
There is absolutely no reason why you don't use your teeth to rip open soft packages like those! I do that and its totally fine! Do what you need to do to make your life easier...there is no need to make it harder hun.
