I’ve watched several 2024 predictions and everyone states the obvious… like what’s been trending for a while. I’m impressed by Michelle’s list here. Love it when someone is really thinking ahead and has a super authentic take. It’s so fun.
oo the pops of red one makes me nervous because I already do this and love this and it makes me nervous when it becomes too popular and overdone. Hopefully I'll still like it though, I feel like it's a timeless "trend".
Your predictions sound spot on. We’re due for some warm/rich colours in our lives. I might be off the mark with this one but the shine seems to be coming off open-plan living & turning back towards individual rooms. They’re easier to heat/cool, less noisy, more fun to decorate. Happy New Year!!
happy holidays 💕 im very pro boxed in seating because it's a very pro lounging trend and there's nothing i hate more than a sofa without armrests like i can't lounge in this! how is this comfortable!! ps: this thumbnail is a work of art, im totally sold on this rosy clay colour, millennial pink rebranded maybe?
I painted my bathroom clay and i LOVE it. Nothing better than having a bath by candle light and feeling like i’m in a cave. My only regret is not painting the ceiling too but that’s where my partner drew the line 😪
I think mahogany too. It’s slept on. I did a mahogany under sink cabinet end of last year and it warms up the space. Amazing! I think like you said Mahogany gets a bad rep cus of how ornate, furniture used to be
This is very random but I would love your advice on what to do with a popcorn ceiling when you’re renting and can just paint. What colors? What sheen? Thanks in advance 🥰
I'm not her but I'll give my two cents anyway if that's okay! Matte colours would be best because sheen tends to accentuate texture (which would call attention to the popcorn aspect).
I tend to think that if there is something you don’t like about your space, lean into it. It seems like the opposite of what you should do but for example, if you have a poorly lit room, don’t lighten it! Lean into the darkness. Same for this unwanted texture, consider a dramatic color. This dark wine/burgundy trend would look so good on a popcorn ceiling imo! I would even consider going glossy 🙈 but I also agree with our friend here, matte ceiling paint in just a white will help disguise that texture.

It’s from revival! And thank you ❤️
Can I ask where your red sweater is from? :)
Oddly enough it’s cashmere from Zara! Should still be available
