- Testing out the brand new KTM EXC 150 at hard enduro. Riding some challenging terrain with steep hills in the woods, rocky river beds and deep mud. The aim of this test is to see whether this 150cc engine is enough for someone to ride some crazy terrain and still manage to have fun.

What’s your thoughts / Experience on the kTM 150 for enduro?
Very fun indeed but does like to spin up the wheel resulting in a lack of traction
I used to watch your wheelie practice videos bro and I forgot about you for awhile and then came across this video haha.
I’ve just brought my first enduro 15 years after quitting motocross , I need some enduro friends 🤣🤣
Man i think ive said it before but you were the inspiration for me to get a 300xc and got me into KTM. Best bike ive had. Love the content keep it up. Cheers from Canada!
Great to hear!
Here in the East Coast US barely have places to ride like yall do. Like a dirt biker dream come true to ride as long as you what without any people complaining or anything. Good vid man
Idk where n east coast you are but in NH there’s unlimited area to ride. I mean my home town has 3 paved roads. It’s amazing
I'm 5'7 stop saying you're short. It's insulting!
Haha I appologise
Womp Womp worry about something else that you can change
Haha mate I’m 5’5, I thought he was my height with how short he says he is 🤣
@@zcmx I suppose it’s because I’m surrounded by my friends who are all over 6 feet
@@MidWestMX If you rode with me you’d feel like a giant 😄
For slow climbs, rocky bits and what not on the 150, get out of 1st into 2nd if you can. That’s the trick. 1st is harder to use on them as it breaks traction. Rev it, but not quite into the band and feather clutch and keep it feathered. You’re really on the clutch with them. Plus if they bring one out a TSP kit transforms the bottom end power. I’m a newb and still learning the ropes but those tips on the 150 helped me loads.
Your videos are great and I don’t think anyone would complain if they were longer! I could easily watch this for 30 minutes plus 👍
Midwest you mentioned that the bikr would either stall or rip the wheels, my solution for that was to gear down my 150xc and then just use 2nd gear. Alot of revs anf clutch slip means the engine doesn't stall and then also wont break traction.
Sounds like it needs a tooth smaller in front, or maybe two more in the rear
Love the content! Keep it up!
Great vlog bud , the 150 is a bike you ride if you want pure smiles on !! Definitely the 300 better suited to the harder stuff , appreciate your efforts ✌🏼
Change the front Sprockit idown one tooth. You'll find it as a total different bike and bringing Power Vow in later Then try the hill again.
Always interesting to see the terrain you ride. Much different than the desert/sand I’m riding. That soil looks heavenly.
Man, that's some epic terrain you have access to.
Need to see you at more events like WOR play days!!
Pivot Hill. What a conflicting name for a track! Prob just what we all need though.
The 150 tbi needs a tsp kit 2 stroke performance are currently working on kit for them should make huge improvement over stock 150 your 150 tbi first I would recommend going up 2 teeth on rear sprocket or going done one size or front should make 2 -3rd gear more unable,
love the videos
you were talking about the height of the bike. im 5'7 you can do a 1in lowering kit for the front and a .5in lower seat and that would help wonders. It doesnt take away from the frontend at all in the slow stuff or the fast. For reference im an A rider
I cant wait for winter riding again love being out in the cold
Man U r the happiest moto Vlogger 🥲
My tpi 150 does great in hard enduro
Nice video
I just tested yesterday my Hardenduro with 12t-50t sprockets instead of the stock 13-45. Conclusion: you don't need another bike whatsoever. Hardenduro: u can do a lot of stuff in 3rd gear and really steep-rocky sections in 2nd. You can lug over anything in 2nd. Trail riding just leave it in 3rd and never think of it. Clutch is light and you can ride all day and still feel your forearm.
Gearing is everything. I was running 12/50 on my Beta 300rr for tougher enduro when i was starting out.
Onesie are warm👍
My cousin had a Sx150 2t man that was a beast of a bike i had a 98 race tuned Cr125 and the 150 scared me and i rode 250 cr and kx 2t but there nicely usable powered bikes love a 250 2t
But i raced Motocross best trail bike i had was a 140cc upgraded mx linkage pit bike i put kx80 forks wheels and swing arm linkage and shock was just as fun on a full mx track as my cr125
I think you should add a Rekluse auto clutch. Best thing I ever did to my Yamaha WR 450 and my Beta 300 RR. All my friends that try my bikes think the Rekluse is amazing. And no, I don’t work for them. As a contractor I can always appreciate a well designed tool that makes my job easier. Ignore the naysayers as they probably have never tried one, or are jealous because they can’t afford one. Best accessory I have ever used.
I’ve tried one before. Took a bit of getting use to but it was good. Me personally though, I like to use the clutch. I feel more in control
Can u please try riding a Honda for a day
It looks a little chilly 🥶
I just bought a mint condish 2021 Kawasaki Kx250xc! I’ve been running a 2016 Kx250f for almost 4 years and finally got something that has electric start.
How is it? Would it be worth getting over my 2012 kx450?
I'm 6'1 keep mentioning your height it makes me feel mighty 👍👍👍👍......oh and Marsh MX sent me😂😂 MIGHTY I TELL YOU
Looks so damn fun!
I just got a bike need to know some good places where to go riding.. where is this place it looks fun
Just bought a all in one waterproof the other day so I’m saying ye
Hey man i really like your videos, keep going! :)
You need more clutch control on a 150 to keep the traction 👍🏻
Real question. On your 300. How much does it weight. I think my bike is heavy. 122kg. 262 rough pounds.
I'm 5'9, I have a 250X. Just have your suspension lowered, it should work
Hey I love watching your videos but how do you connect a microphone to your go pro
I imagine that there psychopath like Jason out there 😂
Cool video
What gloves are guy wearing? How do they do in the cold/ rain?
I swear it is the hardest thing being 5 foot tall on a husqvarna te 150
I’m looking at buy the ktm 150 exc but there are none second hand, is the 150 sc still good for enduro I know it’s made for motorcross but I don’t have that option
250tbi for enduro/hard enduro?
"Turns out the bikes quite heavy" - classic MWMX 🤣
I ride the clutch on my 150 a lot.
I’d love an open world video game of this when I’m too lazy to ride.
Try being 5”5 on these hill climbs 😂
Are you using the waterproof 100% brisker or the normal ones?
It’s not the bike it’s the rider😉
First comment, I love you 🥳
How's the tough one tyres?
Awesome
Indonesia
I don't know how to handle the clutch
What tires do you run?
Plews tyres. Link in the description if you wanna take a look
@@MidWestMX thanks boss
I just got a ktm 200 but cant ride anywhere😢
make dirtbike friends easiest way for free riding property😂
@@datKTM_125sx lol
So thats why I cant find them
those poor bikes ;;; i think in those conditions you would be better off riding a real moose ;;;;
It’s not the bike it’s the rider
I ride a 2003 ktm 200, looking to upgrade anyone know how this motor compares? I love the motor the rest of the bike is meh these days. wife has a 2018 husky 150. is this similar to that or more grunt like a 200? I'm thinking this bike or beta 200re. I ride single track and some private property basically set up like a hare scramble with whoops and 15ft table tops thrown in the mix. nothing technical just pretty aggressive.
I'm around 70kg, and I feel like the 150 works great for me being a "lighter" person... granted I'm not very tall so I flop over a lot! But I do think the 150 works great for the smaller guys/gals out there.
I’m 90 kg and I have the time of my life on my 150 🙂
I think this is a good tets for you cuz the 300 makes you lazier were the 150 teaches how.to.improve your skill imo
