Speedflip catch at 6:46 is so clean. Evample is the only player I can watch for 30 seconds and know it can only be him.
He didn’t boost all the way through the speed flip to use it standard way(for speed) but it still was the same motion of it yeah, actually I think it helped him get to the ball and that position to flick earlier rather of he just side flipped to get the angle on net
yeah anytime I play him on a smurf I'm like ah it's evample again... coz the movement is so unique
@@ghostly4446 yeah he used the flip as more of a preflip to catch the ball and pop it up towards the opponents net (like you said) then an actual speed flip to cover a large distance as quick as possible.
@@darkassassin6457 yes but I think if he side flipped he wouldn’t be fast enough to flick it past the challenge, I think the speed flip was needed to just get it past and into the net
Those catches and movement to catch is so unique and clean. Just like how he goes up to the ceiling. It's definitely a signature style and it's awesome.
I like how he says he is gonna do something like “gonna go for a 50” but immediately doesn’t and scores. Just shows how fast he makes decisions

@@evan0266Some pros are better than the other pros. After one week of playing scrims he might reach the lowest level. Which would mean he'd still get beaten by f.e. NRG's team, but would be on par with other teams who aren't as good as Squishy's team.

That's a huge difference, other people will for sure not even reach pro level.

His decision making is a bit off, but his mechanics compensate. Is like he has spent 75% developing mechanics in training mode and 25% playing with actual people

No one has perfect decision making, evample is by far the best 1s player in the region. Also queue times suck in oce so everyone just free plays for ages.

What type of keyboard evample is using?
Evample, as a fellow KBM player getting a new PC soon, I was wondering what type of keyboard you use.
I usually game on a laptop, and so the Chiclet style keys help sliding between keys for things like speedflips and half flips. I just can't do them on a mech.
Do you have this same issue for speed flips?
well thats true, but he is a *GOD* at speedflips, I personally think you should get a mech and try to get used to speedflipping with it, thats one of the reason that I play controller, lol.

I am on keyboard since 2017, I switched to mechanic keyboard 1 year ago, and it is much better, mostly because of the response the keyboard gives, but whatever u are used to. I use hyperx alloy fps pro
I'm gc3 on KBM, can do all mechanics. Doesn't matter what keyboard tbh unless you're going pro

Hmm quick update, I decided to give my mech a go again. It has gateron reds, and I just cannot match the quality of speedflips I get with my laptop keyboard, I seriously think it's a competitive deficit to have to completely lift my finger from one key to transition to the other.
I will probably end up buying another chiclet style kb when I replace my laptop.

i can't imagine how you would even find games at this level in oce. I struggle to find diamond level games quickly off peak hours in oce.
Quality content
I literally argued this in one of my 1v1 matches. It was a 2v2 and both teams were being toxic which ended in me and an opponent doing a 1v1. He beat me by a goal but he didn't do anything mechanical the entire match. I argue that I freestyled and went for tricky shots which made me lose and he argued that he just played smarter and played off my bad plays. We were both diamond btw. Anyways we ended up starting another match and instead of playing we debated if mechanics or playing smarter was better and which one of us will be better in the future. He told me to watch flakes road to ssl without mechanics and told him to watch examples road to ssl freestyling. We then got into a debate about who would win if they ever had to 1v1 and play strictly for the win. My money's on example
Flakes is one of the best 1v1 players to ever play the game, I think he'd win out of the two with equal ping. Evample has the potential to become unstoppable in 1v1 though, because he has some of the best + most consistent mechanics out of anyone in the world. He just needs to improve his gamesense, although it's a bit difficult since he's in OCE (stuck waiting ages for every match just to get put with arguably worse players than you'd find elsewhere at his MMR).
I'd argue that Evample's mechanics coupled with Flakes' gamesense somehow in the same person would be literally unbeatable.
@@greenday9090 I agree with you flakes is one of the best at 1v1. I only believe example will give him a run fir his money is because we rarely ever see example sweat it out ad he plays to freestyle. You are absolutely right about those God tier mechanics, man's like a robot with how much cobtroll he has over his car. I believe that If evample just tried to be good instead of freestyling not a lot of people will beat him. He's way too unpredictable and it's so hard to read half of his shots. Idk I'd pay to see that match up
