Same feeling with some tears.

When people say “gold” is the only medal worth winning, they clearly haven’t met the people coming second and third or seen their emotions.. i mean just competing in Olympics is itself a pretty big deal and then making it to the podium is huge and admirable... just ask a guy who comes fourth..he would do anything in the world to earn that bronze back.
Ultimate respect to those who compete at this highest level for such long times and make their countries proud.
Yes, gold medal in school is different from gold medal in Olympics
A "pretty" big deal? It's probably one of the biggest deals homie.
well said sir
Those "people" usually can't do 1 f'ing pull-up so no one cares what they think
That thought was pure gold ❤
The medal isn't made up of silver, it's made up of blood, tear and sweat.
False. Blood, a single tear, and sweat would melt at room temperature even if deep frozen and would require a significant amount to make up the size of the medal.

We all know he is capable of the most perfect landing. For athletes of his calibre, it is a given. No question about it..... I remember how nerve wracking I was watching his floor exercise final in each of his tumbling passes, which reminds me of the flashbacks of him in Beijing 2008 where he was the favorite to win the gold or medal until that devastating fall costs him a medal. This time with the home crowd behind him, he finally delivered and was rewarded with a silver medal, I do not want him to end his entire career without an Olympic medal.

Diego Hypolito is the poster child for tenacity. My father used to take me to Boy Scouts and he would drive me on my paper route and to swim practice, to diving practice, to football, track, field, motocross...he bent over backwards to take me to all these events. I never gave up. I never let up. When i fell i got up again. We would drive hours to some of these events and if i fall down i am going to get up because my father did not drive that far and spend all that money for a quitter. He never told me that...i just knew that when you fall off a horse you get back on that horse because that's what winners do. This Olympian never stayed down. He always got up. I was crying as i watched this video because i knew he was going to put it all together. I was pulling for him...cheering him on. I felt like the official who put the medal on his neck hugged him in congratulations obviously knowing his tough luck in earlier olympics. Perseverence got him onto that podium.
