It is a little harder, but this can DEFINITELY be done! You just need to be really on point with your guard retention movements. If it's too tricky for you then I would suggest starting with one-handed guard retention like in this video: ruclips.net/video/7aBdhcHshC8/видео.html

@@StephanKesting People in BJJ have been doing these since the beginning all the way from Gracie family up to now. This is nothing new and it definitely can be done in the gi. These days toreando passing is much more evolved in the gi than what it used to be. So, what is old is also new I think.

Pretty narrow minded thinking as this is a game that works with principles. I played this game with the kids and adults class. There was no issue in Gi vs no gi.
