I certainly was glad to learn that our host is now in a position to get promotional records. I can only imagine what that means to a collector, and I am glad for him. It seems like not that long age his channel was just starting out. his unfailing good taste in music has befitted me, I am happy to say.

    Kenny, You're the best.
I just got my copy of Kenny Burrell - Guitar Forms, a verve reissue. top shelf pressing and packaging and the music is sublime.
My favorite vinyl purchase so far this year .
Keep up the great work and congrats on your recent small windfall, to put towards additional soundscaping.
have a nice summer. Brez in Boston👍🏻

I've listened to that particular Steely Dan album & it sounded amazing, so I know it's got to sound just superb on vinyl Steely Dan's song (Glamour profession) is one of my favorites. I did checkout the Wendy & Bonnie (Genesis) album & I like that kind of acoustic melody it has. It's an album that I've never heard of from that time period. If I had to update it with a modern type of album that had storytelling mixed with a moody acoustic vibe, it would be The Promise Ring 2000 album (Wood/Water). They were also teenagers when they made the album. Interestingly enough, the rest of the albums they made after their 2000 debut album (Wood/Water) looses it's acoustic flair. Enjoy👍 The Promise Ring songs (Wake up April) (Become One anything One time) (My life is at home).might jump out at you?

Awesome! Thanks, Kenny! I learned something - I had never heard of Gary McFarland so I will check him out for sure! I’m super excited for the Cal Tjader OJC coming out later this year 😎

Purple vs Black vinyl is the difference on the Ellington. Really eager to hear your thoughts on the difference (if any) in sound quality. I have an OG of Indigos in 33, and really have my eye on these 45s. Glad Impex sent them for you to review.

Looking forward to the comparisons! The Duke purple vs black and the Jazz at the Pawnshop comparisons in particular.

Hi Kenny. I am still catching up on my purchases from late May and June all because I started to revisit many albums I have in my collection. That Al DiMeeola release is going on my Elusive Disc wishlist. You are going to love Gaucho just as much as the other UHQR Steely Dan releases

I do not keep up on the current music scene that much at all (I probably should because i know im missing out on some talent)..the only modern artist that I did a review on was Beyonce.

@@kennysaudiophilerecordreviews I posted a couple of excellent LP. From what I have seen of your posts, it’s things you would like. We are in a golden age of jazz. I have been collecting records since 1987. Started with late 1940s music and have stayed current. The amount of jazz available today is unprecedented. You should check out Charenee Wade The Offering (Tribute to Brian Jackson and Gil Scott Heron) and the latest Samara Joy. Nice contrast and two great vocalist. The Wade is CD only unfortunately but you can break in that DAC!

Congrats for the free records. Liked your channel a lot so far, and I have to put it now in the „influencer category“ which is OK. To me, watching unboxing and record showing videos without an attached review of music and sound, and manufacturing quality is interchangeable and, for me, a waste of quality time. Looking forward to more value content like your past broadcasts.

Why don't you play some samples? I don't see any benefits for other collectors with channels like these. No offense. You're not the only one. Yoo Tyoob censorship sucks. That, I'm sure of.
