Bought a Fantom wallet from your videos, first one came broken, the flip mechanism broke and split apart the wallet, which was sad, got a new one in a little over a week no questions asked from customer service, so that makes up for it. Overall it's good, fit and finish definitely is sub-par for the price though, it's not bad enough that you notice it immediately but the gaps in the carbon fiber panels in both of my samples were inconsistent, definitely not anything that hindered functionality and definitely not something you'd notice unless looking more than a glance though. It does seem to scratch my cards a little too, but it's definitely not bad enough that I'm bothered by it. Peter and Phil? Are you planning a Genesis reunion or something?
Overall I'm still very happy with my purchase, I don't regret it, and I do recommend it if you're okay with these sacrifices.
It's so nice of you to collect Miatas, we know no one else would want them that's for certain
Carbureted diesel, the ultimate zombie proof car. Add in a hand crank starter and you'll be 100% emp proof
N47 engine from BMW, preferable the 123D bi-turbo engine, assuming you don't want to go to much in to tuning/modifying the engine, these make 250Hp and 320ft/lbs with just a map and have a nice power curve, if you did plan on tuning the engine it lots they can make much more
i love the sound of this... PD150 swap with mods to 250 or 330d swap it
Chris is such a wholesome geeza
What a legend Chris is! I hope that silver Punto hiding behind the Mercedes van has received, or will be receiving, his attention - rusty ones are quickly disappearing.
Loving the channel Alex. Great comedy and absurdity.
Leigh response to Alex’s proposal for giving them the MX5 engine was great.
alex: i'm a german bmw guy
also alex: oooh look an mx5
PD 130 asz or ARL would be the funniest swap in the world. A German lump in a Japanese car that's a diesel. It'd annoy so many people yet it'd be awesome
5:40 - the man is a lunatic, he even swapped a diesel into his *dog* :O
Can’t help but notice that Leigh from BOFI looks like David De Gea’s car enthusiast cousin
"You could be known as the swap man!"
"Uhmmm" (that sounds like a sh*t ton of work)🤣
Something tells me Chris is about to get a shed load more work 🤔🤣 top bloke
We can only hope so!
Where is he based ?
Need to whack a roll cage in it and endurance race the thing. Being so small the MPG returns would be insane.
Get the M47R engine from a rover 75/MG ZT as the turbos are more resisliant than the BMW M47 with the variable vane turbo. Can be mapped to 160 on stock turbo, but can be upgraded.
5:30 nice line from House of Pain - Jump Around ;)
Get a mercedes diesel from the early 2000s. The om606 is legendary. Go talk to diesel pump uk he can hook you up with something cool. The added bonus is unlike the bmw you only need the wires for the starter and charge system and then a pull cable for the shutdown! That is provided you use the om602 pump assembly
