Hello. I wanted to try your kit to repair a cup I made that cracked in the kiln but did not break completely. It has two or three very thin hairline cracks and two nearly 1 mm cracks. The inside is glazed but the outside is not and is very rough clay. Do you think it would work using tape in the outside? And which kit would you recommend for this purpose? thank you and sorry for the long question.

Simply put, it is sand. More accurately, it is closest to diatomaceous earth powder. It has been used as a base for traditional Japanese lacquerware for a long time.
