John Basedow agreed. It’s not worth the time investment, there are better options BUT for the barrier to entry and amount of capital required it’s super good. Dude just isn’t patient.... I spend 60-80 hours a week sourcing, listing, shipping books and make like 8-10 an hour. But I know in long run that will grow a lot. People these days watch too many get rich quick schemes
Great and positive advice. I've begun incorporating Gary Vee (and others) into my homeschool curriculum to teach my pre-teens money, finance, and the hustle. Only been at it two days and already see positive and motivational change to my kids. Gary has always been a motivator to me and i'm hustlin' in the snow, and now i'm sharing with my kids.
To be honest, a documentary called "My Journey to Mars" would be full of potential. It obscurity and novelty of the title leaves the door open to SO MANY opportunities. Johnathon can document flipping on eBay, trying to dial up Elon or the struggle to get into a space program. I hope he takes it to heart and hustles his face off. Hell, I hope he make it there.
@@LucasDanielSantoro Going to Mars is pretty foolish. Elon Musk if pretty foolish in general. He got really lucky with Paypal. Intelligence and wisdom is not tied to net worth.
I do buying and selling a lot, its not as much gary thinks it is. I have tried buying and selling from dollar stores, garage sales, craigslist, etc. The best thing I found is to learn your market and go for big ticket items because constantly listing small items with $5 proft is not very effective if you are the one packaging, shipping, buying, listing, etc.
Neil Blalock Have you learned your lesson since posting this comment? When something we are doing isn't going well, it's OUR fault, and we can do well if we think about it and work on it hard enough. The whole point he says that is to start people off, and it's working for me, because I won't relent until I'm where i want to be. At first I got hit so damn hard with reality of buying, packing, shipping cost vs profit, ebay fees, competitive listing, pictures, taxes, etc. But now I worked through the hump and am good to continue. And this is just the first step through the door, because my passion and career are not in retail arbitrage. Im actually just talking to myself now
Hey gary and team gary vee! Love the content! I want more!!!! Especially skills and more ideas of doing and the stuff you don't find on google. Do I make better decisions by moving on from my mistakes faster? How to I catch the intuition faster and make it happen when you're working on a previous intuition?
Some books are slow movers. I sell books. Some move fast. There are 2 basic strategies if you want to sell books. You can either search for specific books that move fast, or you can search for deals where you can buy large quantities dirt cheap ( the strategy I use). For instance, I bought 3500 books a few months ago for 14.50. many are slow long tail movers but about 1 in every 50 will sell within the first week. The trick is to list them fast and spend a lot of time throughout the day listing them. I try to list 40 to 50 a day. I sell other things to, but right now I'm focusing on all the books I have. Some will sell for a lot, some you may only make a dollar profit on. But as long as you put the work in, it can be very lucrative.
I was waiting for Gary to ask him why? Like why do you have this goal? To look cool or impress people, why? I was surprised he didn’t ask. Just from watching other vids I expected it
Hahahahaha, I’m Died!!! Funniest caller to date! Gary’s face when he said “hundreds of millions”!! It looked like he was going to be sick!!hahahaha and then his reaction to “go to mars”. Amazing!
First, we don't need $ 440 mil to go to mars. The guy might be passionate about going to Mars but is taking the hardest route to fulfilling his ambition. Honestly, I think he is a bit cut off from reality he needs a psychiatric check. Also, why would $440 mil matter anyway in terms of any additional happiness or safety he might get compared to just having just 1 - 2 million?
Elon Musk calling up... "My name is Jonathon!" lol
Vincent J. Newman !!!!
bahahahahhahahaa
so basically he's saving for a private flight on spacex lol
Flipping can be a pain in the ass but a $2k profit when you’re just stating out is significant cash. 💪🏼💯

I liked the fact that even tho Johnathan sounded like a got damn fool 😂 they were still trying to give him positive and great advice

Jonathon definitely has a dollar amount he thinks he's worth per hour: $3348.55, per hour. 440 million divided by the amount of hours in 15 years.
Loved this AGV!!!! You are always bringing value and truth!! Thank you my Sweet Gary!!
"Document your journey to Mars"
Rohan Bird I thought that was serious. I wouldn't had laugh

Didn’t expect to see you here🤔. Anyways thanks for the gains :)
I remember this.
I like how they were laughing about him wanting to go to mars
document your journey to Mars! hahahahha, that got me. man, he's damn serious.
Is there anything wrong with wanting to do something smarter? How did you guys decide between whether he's being impatient or just trying to innovate?
Gary this was so freaky awesome and highly inspiring ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
They laughed at you bro, just stick in them when you get your ambition done!!!! 😂😂😂😂 that was halirious
Hahaha imagine he's sticks it to them
Tom Adams that's would be crazyyy😂😂😭
Gary didn't laugh. He gave him good advice to document his journey. It was Charlemagne who laughed.
1:30 smoetimes I have to break down a sentence and think about it to for a second to understand it. Im glad im not the only one lol
If you watch enough of his stuff, you can tell when Gary thinks you have no shot lol.
I was waiting for Gary to ask him why? Like why do you have this goal? To look cool or impress people, why? I was surprised he didn’t ask. Just from watching other vids I expected it
SedaleM Gary or Jonathan?
Thanks for the content. Happy November !!!
Hey man. Just saw this vídeo. Do you think is best starting with a shopify store or selling on Amazon?
Plz make a video on logical thinking
That's perfect. Wanna make $100k or less, reselling is where it's at...my wife "works" 30hrs at goodwill...making $800 net a week....from one store...
Hey Gary, what is your opinion on bitcoin?
Other ways to sell besides Amazon?
does crapping count as reselling
Great vid!
You came up with the flip challenge before the breakfast club
Right hand to God that's what my idea was ,confirmation
The answer is: "Be annoying" hhaha!!!
Hahahahaha, I’m Died!!! Funniest caller to date! Gary’s face when he said “hundreds of millions”!! It looked like he was going to be sick!!hahahaha and then his reaction to “go to mars”. Amazing!
Savers and town thrift stores look and see
This caller wasn’t prepared.
A video by Gary Vee in 360-freaking-p? I'm surprised.
Pinny Blue I'm watching it in 1080p. My guess is when you clicked on it, it was newly uploaded and wasn't loading at HD yet.
So gold. We actually have to be annoying to build enough brand awareness to achieve our goals.
how was charlie sloth my ad big up charlie sloth
Invest the time and be patient! @endurovibrance
this made me laugh so much!
"Become a loveable asshole"

Definitely the "Journey to Mars" is the hit!
